Congratulations to the osteopath, she's a very sensitive and skilled professional. I think she's doing what she really loves to do, too.

Fascinating! Love the mentioning of Fascia release❤.
I do wish the handler would relax a bit as well- he seems to think the horsrs' response/ release is disobedience and tries to correct by tugg8ng at the ( unnecessary) chain😢.
I do love, love, love the therapist and hercexplanations❤❤❤❤❤❤

Massage is non invasive, so you can absolutely do massage on your own horse. It is great post exercise as it increases the blood flow to the area. Even if you don't use techniques such as jostling, compression, petrissage or NMT, effleurage is a technique everyone can do by just running your hands (flat) over all the muscles. It will increase blood flow to the muscles which will help with the healing process. This also stimulates neuropeptides which keep working hours after muscles have been worked on. Never try and adjust your horse. Leave that to the professionals. I am an Equine Sports Massage therapist and I work closely with horse Chiropractors. I've done massage for years and would never try and adjust a horse. In the US there are no Osteopaths unfortunately you have to work closely with the other therapists 😀

In US there are a lot of osteopaths for humans; are they not treating horses as well?
