Thanks for putting this up. I just did this on my 2015 Citroen Relay and it worked perfectly. This just saved me a chunk of cash as I always do my own oil changes. I already spent on a fancy diagnostic cable that didnt do the job. Interestingly I only had the flashing oil light and not the Change Engine Oil message. When I depressed the brake and accelerator I then got the message. I repeated the brake and accelerator procedure which cleared it. Then turned ignition on and off as described and all cleared.
I’ve got the same thing mate flashing oil light but no change oil message, I was worried it is something major or serious as the user manual states it’s a major issue, but it does state that the light is on all the time and not flashing, the user manual doesn’t even mention that the light could indicate it’s due an oil change 🥴
Bro is that all that the flashing red oil light means? That it needs oil change? I’ve got the flashing red oil light while engine is running but there’s no notification on the digital display that I need an oil change, the user manual indicates that the constant light while running means serious fault, although the light isn’t constant it’s flashing the same as this.
Best to get it checked mate , just incase there are any oil pressure issues mate , try the reset first .. if it works it’s just relating the oil change due

No manual do carro boxer peugett diz colocar a chave na ignição sem por a trabalhar e colocar os pés no travão e acelerador a fundo por cerca de 1 minuto e meio , desligar a chave e voltar a ligar desaparece o símbolo do óleo e a mensagem de trocar o oleo.
Were you not worried something might go wrong with your engine lol, mine has just came on and I don’t even dare drive it now incase it’s something to do with the oil pressure
Got it to work now, it seems that after completing the sequence u have to switch it position 2 for 5 secs then turn engine over and it works. Hopefully will help any that its not working for. Many thanks for your efforts

Might have a faulty oil level sensor mate
