Infill development is really needed in my state which is being ravaged by a housing crisis and wildfires. Clearly we need to build more housing and not near undeveloped forest areas. Unfortunately NM is so poor and beholden to oil and gas money that I doubt we’ll ever see any zoning changes or meaningful investments in density 😞
Mixed used developments with housing and commercial at ground level, is the new American Dream 🇺🇸 a sense of community where people can walk to a small corner store, and have an open area for kids, dogs and catch up with your neighbors, is like living in Europe, but it could be right here in the USA.
I agree it’s a good thing, I just wish that they would be built at scale. In my mind, having these be so disconnected and hard to connect with transit, feels not so good.
Ooh I love urban planning videos
I'm glad you enjoyed the content! I'm trying to branch out from political science content, it's a nice topic to explore imo
Having a little trouble hearing you over the music. Seems to be from 1:00 to 3:30 so I'll get through it.
Subtitles will be up shortly! Thank you for bringing the music volume to my attention
urban planning has significantly grasped your channel lol ^w^
lol indeed. I will release another political related video soon- spent the last week or so receding various scripts!

I wish these theories could actually work in real life with developers and the increasingly complexity of building infill projects 😢😢😢
Way to go!
Great video, might be nice to fade some of the music in and out if possible. It's a little harsh on the ears when it just stops abruptly

Great content, thanks! I’d prefer it without the distracting music.
The horrible, economy destroying abominations before nature that are suburbs truly are a blight upon our reality.
