Hey, watch out Ash :-). It is not Chechnya, but Czechia = Czech Republic, i.e. right in the middle of Europe, the capital Prague, Václav Havel, Jaromír Jágr. Does it ring any bells? Chechnya is part of the Russian Federation, the president is Kadyrov. That's like saying UAE instead of USA ;-)

Baron is solid but the damage reduction ultimate of regulus and brokkir is great in the endgame. It’s really needed in nm void rift.

I'm one of those new guys... binge watching your stuff. Never played raid but got into WoR and 1 month in and playing nonstop with your help along the way. Just got my abomination today and just maxed my 5* baron here looking for some tips
Just played WoR almost 2 months now. It's funny because the reason I tried this game is because I saw you on the WoR ads in another game I played. I didn't know anything about WoR before your ads. Unlike any other ads, yours actually looked like you genuinely enjoyed the game. So, keep up the good work and your positive vibe, and I'm sure many new players will come in the future.
Also, if yoi don't mind, please keep making noob guides or heroes comparation within the same class. There's a lot more heroes in this game, and the mechanics is more complex too compared to my other game

Just started playing 4days ago, just pulled Baron. Cant wait to build him
Seems to me that there's really only 2 super tank focused Legendary defenders(Regulus and Brokkir). The rest seem to be more focused on damage/support. So if you're looking for someone to eat big hits, yeah, Baron is as good for that, if not better, than most of the legendaries.

Hello Ash. Hoping this comment finds you doing well. Sending positive vibes your way as you do for all of us every video! I have a sleeper OP Epic hero that I can find 0 guides on that you might enjoy covering. His name is Nisalt. The Esotericist mage. Most reviews are really hard on the guy. Everyone is building him wrong. He is a very unique hero that you don’t need any Crit or Crit Damage heck you don’t even really need attack on the guy. All you need is Attack Speed and Rage Regen. Tons of both. Max his skills and A 5 and try him on artifact raid and guild boss. Not necessary but it really unlocks his full potential. He has such a unique kit where he can have almost permanent burning and poison! He can do almost as much guild boss damage as Zil and Hex. Try mana spring accessories and whirlwind gear. You won’t be sorry you invested. He doesn’t shine everywhere but he will carry faction trial and single target arena as well. I am a huge fan of putting weird sets on heroes, when they have the right stats. The vast majority of time, sets are equivalent to a single well-rolled substat, so you might not be getting the best stats by using "the right set" for a hero. At the end of the day, stats are what make the hero perform or fold.
How is your vortex built? Shouldn’t be dying to boss in gr2 like that

On my 21st day of this game and I'm glad as a F2P I pulled him along with Olague and Regulus within my first week. Still contemplating which one I'm going to 6* next between Regulus, Abomination, Wrath or Baron.

Abom and Wrath before the defenders 1000% Do them after you've got all your main dps heroes at 6 stars.
In my opinion, baron is just a mini Brokkir xD 12 sec Unyielding for baron and 13 sec of freeze on Brokkir. 50% hp on Baron, but 100% on Brokkir. Offcourse A5 will be more difficult :P 1 more thing, is that brokkir reduces the dmg surrounding enemies take by 10% or 30% when he is in his Freeze.
Would be nice to pull him. He is the only epic tank I don't have.

I had the option of Baron or Livian 6 star, and just 6 stared Livian a few hours ago...25% physical reduction permanently. No lego tanks or healers on my account. Also need defense due to the game equation. Game equation is unknown at this time like many hidden values.

@@dakodaarmstrong5 My olague is 60, needed a second tank for random events...many zones have many lanes. Pulled 3 new DPS llegos, still no tank or healers ; /

No I was lucky to get King Harz on my first legendary lord. He is by far the best defender in the game, and if you get his arterfact (Norths will) he won't die and give all around him half his shield, on top of the norm northerners shield, focusing on a hp build, then self heals 20%, and mine is only at level 50. He put me into raid 3 at level 40. He lce move ,is like lord of the rings (U SHALL NOT PASS)
I’m a week in and he’s my main defender as well. Looks cool too haha

Brokkir By far the best defender he's like baron 2.0.
I cannot get upgrade gear to save my life. Everything has crit as the 4th attribute. Crit anywhere else rolls super low. I'm gear starved. I've done over 200 runs today.

Hello Ash, just to mention a mistake (small for you, unpleasant for me) you made. The way you pronounced Czechia is wrong. Czechia is country in the middle of Europe - this is what you had in video. You said Chechnya - Chechen Republic, and its a republic of Russia.

He is definitely not better than Brokkir and Regulus for end game. Olague is also better than him. Baron is definitely top 5 defender but not better than those 3. I only use Baron atm on his faction wars. Brokkir and Regulus are must have for some Void Rifts and Torodor is huge for a lot of high end content.
Love Baron! Successful pulls this weekiemd with Laseer, Zelus, and Hex with lots of Epics. Hex got. pulled yesterday and he's already 60 6-starred and fully promoted.... just need to upgrade skills and eventually ascend him. Not bad for the end of week three.

Barons dope for sure but I don't think he's quite as good as Brokkir or Olague.
Sorry to say... but hes not. Brokkir is better, Baron falls off later. Brokknir never will.

Oh good. I 6* my brokkir over baron and this title has me thinking I did it wrong
Brokkir is better than Baron in late/end game. He combines the best of Baron and the best of Regulus. Death immunity, and when he is frozen during that or his ult he grants ally damage reduction, which is great for killing Nightmare Torodor. Keeps your melee units alive during his slam.

@@Binzob just use soulstones they say. I'm not knocking Baron. Wish I had him. But with A5 and PoD it's not really a good showing of what a f2p might expect to see.
@@DanielNelson It's not a guide for how to beat the content, just a showcase of how effective Baron can be. And yeah soulstones, I wouldn't a5 Baron myself as a high priority with them, but if you really want to you could pretty easily. Especially if you don't waste the ones from tide early on.
