I’m crocheting as I watch this 😂 #5 Oh my gosh 😅 The amount of WIPS I have is… 🤣 I do work on multiple projects at once, but I’m also able to finish multiple at once. Sometimes I just get exhausted with one and need to switch to another ❤ Also- I struggle with severe chronic illnesses and I’m constantly back and forth to the hospital/doctor. And I quite literally have a “to- go” crochet pouch with stitch markers, hooks, a mini scissor, sewing needle. And I always carry one ball of yarn and a pattern that only requires one color 💗

I am the same way, I collect them almost as much as I do yarn. Every time I work a pattern that I have purchased and it is a bad pattern I swear I will never buy another...🤣🤣🤣 then I get a message from etsy saying that someone has a sale on patterns....well maybe these are written better... and here I go again 🙄 🤣🤣

4:19 I started crochet with this goal in mind and so far I’ve managed to stay on task. I’ve done 2 dolls 10 pair of socks finished one blanket now I’m working on the second blanket! However what I have been super guilty of is buying supplies and patters and setting them up for the next like 10 projects.
@@Crocheniacs i went nuts at first and made most of that in like 2 months. This second blanket is a challenge to learn different patterns. I’m doing a square panel blanket, 5 flat floral designs and 5 3D floral designs. I’m about half way done but it’s taken me almost 4 months so far!

last christmas, i did make something for my whole family . i made all the grandbabies stuffies and all my kids towel toppers and ornaments and made my inlaws towel toppers and my motherinlaw a scarf with pockets. my biggest lie is ill take a break from crocheting tomorrow. my husband says im always crocheting, but i recently had a heart attack and am supposed to relax and this is my way of relaxing. i hope you dont mind but im just starting out on my channelso i am going to use your idea in a different way though it may be a while though because i have lots of doc appointments coming up.

I have solved a lot of problems in life through crocheting. Sure there are frustrating parts of crocheting, but the lessons learned are treasured. #7 hit me the most. ❤
I will take a break tonight. I always pick up a blanket for at least for a little bit while I am relaxing at the end of the day if even I don’t want to work on a more difficult pattern.
I am a knitter and i mostly knitt christmassocks for my family i always plan them ahead an start right after christmas with the socks for next christmas. My boyfriend makes fun of it 😅. But i have only two pares left to make
a hint for saving money on yarn and hooks/needles, thrift stores. I've even found big name knitting needles at a thrift store. And I've gotten good yarns as well.
I've just been crocheting for a couple of weeks and as a crafter I'm actually good at this. So, I decided I can definitely make the advanced crochet amigarumi. I bought the pattern today, read it for a bit and well... 🙈 (Obviously I just ordered the yarn and I'll see it through and in a couple of weeks we'll see how much I've lied to myself 🤣)
I don’t amigurumi, I do wearables like pullovers, dresses, shawls, scarves, ponchos, also blankets and more… but yes, I also have some of those lies that you’ve mentioned. But I am worst about “I will just finish this row”, Lol.
I'm doing crochet gifts this xmas. I've finished several, with 2 and a half to go (unless I do for more people). It's August. I gave myself plenty of time and now I'm just gonna have them in storage for months. I think the hardest part about it, is wanting to keep them.

I'm currently crocheting a bolero shrug while watching your video and I can totally relate. I finished a family requested crochet scarf yesterday night and immediately started the shrug. Im a beginner as far as amigurumi. Its fun, but bc my crochet time is often late at night (its my relax time before bed,) i usually need something very repetitive and easy; blankets, washcloths, and the like. However, i totally relate to all 10 of these!! The only "partial" one for me is #4, but bc of what i make, its usually portable. I found out the hard way that i can Not make amigarumi in the car on road trips!!! I got carsick very quickly! For some reason, i dont have that trouble with blankets- for which im thankful as i have several gifts to get finished by this fall! 2 new babies on the way at church, & 3 little nieces all getting pretty cuddle blankets for Christmas!!! My brain never runs out of projects i want to do, & while i dont keep too many WIPs around, there are always one or two that get set aside when i find someone specific to make something for!😊😁😉❤ i enjoyed this video; very fun! ~Liz

Not starting a new project until you finish the current one is not a lie but an intention. Crap happens you know, you forgot your yarn at home but still have some yarn you can use so you start a new project until you can get back to find the needed yarn.
Yeaaaah! You’re absolutely right! Sometimes it is intentional, we don’t have the right yarn and everything. But sometimes it isn’t 😅 We just get excited with something new and pause this project for a while! We wish we had time to do everything, right?
Or spending money on magnets, wires, new safety eyes or joints, fidget tubes, slap bracelets or any other cool thing to make their armatures/skeletons better and more interactive play toys. 😅
HA! I'm laughing over here. Out of ten, I don't do 3 lies. I use to do lie #10, but after a few years of ripping out my work, I finally gave in to using stitch markers. I'm not slow! 1. HA! one more row and an hour later I'm still going. 2. CHEAP? I'm in the poor house and my house could be a yarn store. 3. Yeah, I won't buy more yarn! That ain't happening! 4. You can carry your project anywhere. I tried that when my mom was in the hospital. All I got was a sore back from carrying my bag. Never got any work done. 5. Oh this was a good one. I sat here and told myself I didn't have any "unfinished" projects. HA, HA, HA! I forgot I put away all those projects so I woulldn't see them. 6. NEVER said this project would be fast - I'm not! Too much of a perfectionist. 7. OH, THIS ONE! HELL NO!!!!!!! I NEVER find crochet relaxing. I am a NUT! I have to understand what I'm doing. And if I don't, everyone's life becoomes HELL until I do! LOL No, seriously, it does become hell. 8. Can't go to a yarn store here - I'm house bound with my mom and besides, we don't have yarn stores here with the yarn I like. Most of the yarn I like comes from Turkey, Denmark, South America, Italy, etc. 9. I tried this last year and almost ended up in the asylum. Never do that again. and 10. I learned my lesson.
