Fresh Guacamole Recipe | How to make perfect guac at home

Guacamole ! It is creamy, tasty, and festive! This homemade, fresh dip takes any party to the next level and is also a delicious topping for tacos, fajitas, and sandwiches (what!? Yes I put it on my sandwiches =). I am a huge fan of guacamole and enjoy making this recipe and variations of it on a weekly basis. This is a recipe that PriPri taught me, and we are excited to share it with you! We enjoy Mexican food and recipes (Taco Tuesday is a pretty big deal in our house) and this is a staple. See below for the step by step recipe directions for making perfect, easy guacamole at home. Enjoy with tortilla chips (or Frito Scoops, yum!)
Ingredients
-4 Large Avocados
-Juice from half a small Lime
-Handful of Cilantro
-Two slices of onion (red looks good but I use sweet yellow)
-1 or 1 1/2 Tablespoons Garlic Powder
-1 Teaspoon Salt
-1 or 1 1/2 tablespoons Pepper
-Splash of olive oil
-Small red pepper or cilantro for garnish (I used a sweet red pepper)
-Bag of tortilla chips
Directions
-Slice onion into small squares
-Chop ciliantro
-Half avocados and remove seeds
-Slice avocado into smaller pieces and remove from skin with a spoon
-Add spices, cilantro, juice from 1/2 a lime, and olive oil to avocado slices.
-Thoroughly mash with fork and then mix
-Add onion slices (or cheese, jalapeno slices, etc!) to guacamole and mix again
-Top with red pepper rings or cilantro for a garnish that pops
-Enjoy with tortilla chips and make again and again!

this is awesome really a big diffrence from store bought guac you only really know the diffrence when you make guac good job stay safe!

Thank you Lop Sop! There absolutely is a difference. Store bought just isn’t the same and is almost a paste. I understand if that’s all that is available, but if you have some avocados, make it fresh 😁👍🥑
