Coming at you live with my #rad9 community challenge of the 9 movies that made me! Let's go do this! #theradpack #communitychallenge
My top 9 (not necessarily in order):
#1 Back to the Future
#2 Raiders of the Lost Ark
#3 Christmas Vacation
#4 Gladiator
#5 Braveheart
#6 Die Hard
#7 For Love or Money
#8 Casino
#9 Star Wars - A New Hope
. . Did you see the size of that chicken? . . . 🤪😎
My 9 is a very random list, i like ved them all in the 80s as a l d still love them now, some are among my favourite fikms. The only exception is Die Hard, because of the year it was made until the early 90s when i was 11. These films gave me my early love and early appreciation of comedy, horror, disaster, and action films, along with an appreciation of older black and white stuff. I think each of them have had some impact on me as a person. I'm not doing this as a ranking, just a random list:
Dracula: Prince Of Darkness (1966)
Halloween 3: Season Of The Witch (1982)
Halloween (1978)
Police Academy (1984)
The Music Box (1932)
Where's That Fire? (1940)
The Towering Inferno (1974)
Damien: Omen 2 (1978)
Die Hard (1988)
Sorry i just saw my typing on that it's awful. I wish my tablet let me edit messages.
I can relate to Elm Street influencing you. With me it was Halloween i saw at 5. The iony is my mum thought Elm Street was too scary for me until i was 10. On my 9th birthday i asked her to rent out Freddy, she decided to rent Michael, even though it was on tv every few months back then.
I don't know why she thought Elm Street was especially scary, i mean it has great scares, but it's meant to. Also bear in mind my mum also at the age of 7 invted me to watch The Omen trilogy with her, because the original was her favourite movie, just not yet Freddy lol
Chase I bought Spacecamp from Kino Lorber on blu-ray if you haven't found it yet.
@@Hallas3 thanks for letting me know! I am about to put in a Kino order in the next couple of days!!
Nice! Thank you so much for joining the challenge! The community is great!
Thank you! It was a blast! Make sure you check out that Fall Guy tv show theme I mentioned to you on Instagram lol!!
If you all have some way to accept mail without blasting out your address, give me a shout and I'll send some BluRay and DVD copies of some of the movies I've made...I think a couple of them are playing out the licensing time on some streaming services but streaming sucks LOL
SIIIIIIICK! Thx man!
Thank you guys! Love the vibe!!
Dude! I just saw your video on your room tour! We have a lot in common lol...I see you're a big Karate Kid fan..so am I and Marty Kive and his son Jesse are friends of mine and starred in the most recent movie I wrote and directed for my production company! Marty convinced me to jump I'm and a scene with him so you can imagine the thrill I had as an 80s kid, doing a scene with Marty Kove, in a horror film that I wrote, directed and filmed!! So "rad" lol!!! I loved the room brother!
Rock n roll! Subscribed;) 👊😎
Hell yeah! Thanks so much!!
Jaws almost made my list. It's certainly up there with the ones i mentioned.
Beverly Hills Cop almost made my list too.
it is super hard to narrow them down isnt it lol
