i think scorpion is actually one of those bots that doesnt die as new metas evolve, similar to ravana. Just put new weapons on it, and the ability doesnt really become outdated.

Weapons mostly carry scorpion. Since lately weapons are extremely game defining. Scorpion uses that advantage because it can get anyone by suprise and fire at them no matter what.
Yepp they make a large part of the Scorpion. But honestly: The scoprion itself allow to put them to use against anyone when they're most vulnerable. That's what makes the SCopry what it is. And I didn't use the super OP new weapons here for a reason ^^
Tip for the scorpion - when you hit the ability, turn around before you teleport so your legs don’t have to turn around before you start hugging someone’s back, this allows you to skip shooting shields at all
Yepp that's a nice move. But many scorpions will utilize anti control. And even if not, I have found that the blackout seems to be a bit buggy when it comes to that. I often hit a scorpion before he wanted to teleport back. There was no blue glow on him for anticontrol, yet he simply teleported back. And that was also before the turret on Battlehips that can remove such effects.
The Erebus is great for that too, is you can them out of the shield quick enough. Having the armadillo drone and some stacks of defense catches them off gaurd
@@ManniGamingI have a explanation for that. So when you hit the scorpion with the blackout, the scorpion had already pressed the teleport back button before the blackout hit him. If the scorpion hits the teleport back button before your blackout hits him, the scorpion will simply teleport back doesn't matter if the blackout hit him or not.

Back at 2020, when I came back to the game, I won a techno scorpion. It was literally so fun playing around with it and its a really good robot for strategic gameplay. It also was a game changer and its still scary to fight against even nowadays. I wish I could get it back tho. Thanks for the vid manni, its great watching you ^^

For me, it's the first giveaway I ever won. I won Adrian's scorpion giveaway when scoprion just came out. I was much worse at the time so it helped me so much. I ran gust storm or halo corona, sometimes gust corona or halo storm. Honestly had so much fun with it during its meta. I miss those days a lot.

Today i was playing and i realised the entire team was meching out in just 3 odd minutes. I thought perhaps the en team was low tier. After the match i was checking the stats and i saw one gentleman did a whopping 13 mil damage and the name was Look Who Stalking. My man still rocking the same hanger with one skyros instead of the invader. Not a single ochokochi newton or anything. Thank god i was not matched against him but again he wouldn’t let anyone else do any damage but himself
Why you all hanging all over him xD he sure is a great player but honestly with those people that are playing the game, Im asking if they have any skill at all because they perform miserable in comparison to me and they are mk12 max/mk3
Great video Manni! I personally also like the scorpion. I also have one in my hanger. Scorpion is one of the best robots, you can drop an entire Aether with the sonic build. By the way, can you do Harpy next? I think it would be interesting. Many people still run the harpy currently.
Thing with the scorp is that you can do anything with it and its good. But its still punishable. It has real counters and isn't insanely broken but it isn't garbage. Counters include phase shift, any anti stealth robot or build, emp, and map awareness. It also happens to be a fun robot that's beginner friendly
It's my first bot above t2 which I was trying so hard to get and I spent almost all my resources on it back then and it still is my favourite robot in my hangar and I don't regret a single investment

Assassin type robots have to be the most powerful if done right. Scorpion is one of the easier ones to pull off. Also! I still use Gareth in fights! They're a small missle dodging, almost laser proof monster.
I had a scorpion from a long time ago, still have it now, but stopped leveling it up at lvl 8, wanted to but can’t anymore cuz i have to upgrade newer robots to keep up with the meta 😢
With the Newton ability you can’t phase shift out of it but you can phase shift out of corrosion, bomb effects, being slowed from the weapons or battleships! But the new mata that’s making all the money is different because it needs to be super op! But don’t worry guys in a few weeks it will be useless! Also the Ravana can use its ability but the Newton ability doesn’t end?!?! Also same thing with the phase shifting titan (I can’t remember what it’s called) thanks for the vid. Also I wish you would show what modules your running on the robot also I wish you would do that with pilot skills. 😊

The scorpion is just powerful and the sonic weapons are overpowerd when they are MK3 which i bet people who see or get killed by the scorpion just rage. Hoping for you to get 500k subscribers at the end of this year🙏
The next video I want to see: make an exact replica of the hangar of the person that you have destroyed, including the level of equipment, and try to play with these, instead of your maxed hangar with top pilots and drones.
before i quit WR for good, my absolute favourite robot was the scorpion. so many moments when there was a cocky braindead P2W person with a full hangar of seraph (back before it got nerfed), and i've made them ragequit in FFA. you're absolutely right about making things personal. scorpion not only damages people's robots, but people's mental state as well. people will get mad, make bad decisions, and end up losing because of it.
FFA above master league is for loosers now every braindead incel can spawn the same bot over and over be it scorpion or overpowered meta bots which makes your advantage by choice of situational bot abilities and weapons range you had prior by the target simply being where it is obsolete since they just overpower everything. Same thing with scorpion, where does the other person escape to? Also I highly doubt every round in champs can be played with the scorpion like that, needless to say about the skill gap. Also you see almost no manni getting squad mobbed by a top clan ever which is fine by me because why show it but its not reality. Oh and Im on the other part of the spectrum, whenever anyone gets on my nerves its getting personal but I will not let me anger it till the point of a loss but if a scorpion jumps on me and deals a lot of grey damage to me, I will make sure their hanger goes puff puff immediately. Serves you right
My first concern when Scorpion was introduced was that Pixonic had taken the idea of teleportation too far, to the point it fully replaces walking from point A to point B (with Phantom you could at least only teleport to somewhere you have already been) and cannot be predicted/avoided in the same way you can, say, predict the presence of Hellburners thanks to their ability icons shown in battle. I imagined them introducing future Scorpion-like robots with more teleport range, more firepower, you name it. Even though Scorpion was arguably never OP (and Harpy is sort of an antidote, too), I remain a supporter of the idea that there should be modules to "disrupt" teleportation some way or another... such as applying Suppression to any incoming or outgoing teleportation within a radius. Which, if applied to non-robot entities as well, could have been sort of a Mars counter, come to think of it...

Apparently it doesn't even get all the module slots (although imo that shouldn't be the case for any robot). But still I hope for direct teleportation counters.
Man newton should have been a gravity "well" where it was a visible 50 meter in diameter circle where ANYBODY who walks into it gets lifted, but you can also just float/dash/teleport out of it through inertia ...

And I'm in Expert League but still, they see me and all of them Focus in on me.
It's been this way for quite some time but, I'M NOT CHANGING MY GAMERTAG! LET EM KEEP ON ME! It Frees up my Team during the battle that way.
And I can still finish the battle without meching out usually. I Love playing as the Tank of the Team.

Scorpion fatal havoc and tiger scatter is in my hangar. Level 8 robot and weps two nuke amp one stealth module. It’s a mean machine.

You got lucky there bro as soon as I use my ability and teleport back to safety every time two or three ophions target only me.

Oh man, i love scorpions so much, i even have 2 of them on my main hangar, my favorite chore is going scorpion with Quantum Radar and ruining the life of those pensky Crisis players, it is so funny, one of them ran out of robots before even getting titan ready, oh man, the laughs i had... anyway, i'd love to see you trolling sniper players like this lol

The sonic scorpion is one of the bots that since i got a techno scorpion,i got the se sonics and maxed everything and it is still probably the most deadly bot i have

I have fun messing with scorpions, just put your back towards a cliff and its a hilarious death when they arrive from behind and a surpize fall lol
