When I was 6 years old, I loved rayman like a son. (And I still do today) So once I finally unlocked the 8th treasure chest level luscious lakes, *IT TOOK ME 4 HOURS STRAIGHT AS A FRICKIN 6 YEAR OLD.*
Took 6 hours for me but can’t remember how long it’s been seen I’ve played this game but yeah this level is a pain on pain and a little bit of troll salt on top
For a 6 year old, that's actually REALLY impressive. Most people new to gaming nowadays (full on adults who've got lives outside of games or man children journalists) would likely take longer with breaks!
When i was 7, a friend came over and after 5 GODAMN HOURS we beat the reveal, got beat tricky temple too, and the land of the freaking dead. When we beat the last boss, we were jumping, literally screaming. I still remeber it to this day
I'm so glad the developers managed to capture the intense difficulty of Rayman Adventures. Man this was difficult! And what a design for a final boss! Superb game, truly revitalized the Rayman series, and perhaps brought a new theme in for future Rayman's.
this was my favorite game on psvita. I played it so much I could complete any level with my eyes closed. I was at my grandparents' house when I finally unlocked this level and I completed it the same night. sleeping at my grandparents' place was always an amazing time for me, but that night was special: I was about to complete the game I spent so much time on, and I did it! great memories and nostalgia...
How the hell did I do this as a 8 year old... I remember defeating the boss and then falling in live with the nymph 😂🙏 (I still love goth baddies to this day)
Another thing is that by this point you have total mastery over Rayman and his physics. When you tap jump, you know exactly how high that short hop is gonna be each and every time, and the level is designed around you knowing that fact.
This level was insanely hard the first few times I did it. That was a good run. Only 2 deaths. Possibly 3 since it looks like an extra cut was made before the final boss.
Nice work! Never thought of doing a mid air kick at 0:47 to avoid the vines, and I'm surprised you made some jumps without bouncing off enemies. Anyway, if anyone does this in one run without dying and videos it for proof, I'll nominate you for the brass balls award.
@NovaGypsy Well I think it's very evident (especially the part where the fireballs at the bottom are shooting at you there is a clear edit since it's a checkpoint zone) that he did take a number of tries to beat this as anyone would. He simply edited all the successful attempts into one video to make it convenient for the viewers. That being said... this level is pretty well done. Hard as nails but very rewarding. I beat it with the little tiny blue guy.
I only have two qualms about this game. The first thing is that the story (especially the ending) was never really clearly proportioned, so I was very surprised when the game's first credits rolled on my screen. It was first when I read into it later, that I found out that certain characters had returned, as I didn't see any similarities between Mr. Dark in his original and teensie appearance, for example. I thought it was awesome that he made a return, and I'd love if I recognized him first.
Man I remember when I was 12 years old and I played this game with my brothers, but at this level I told them to get off so I can hurry up and beat the game, IT TOOK SO MANY DAMN TRIES, I'm surprised it took less now that I'm 17 😢, also may I say WHY DOES TIME FLY SO FAST?!, I was just a little kid. But all and all I really enjoyed this game growing up, and I still do to this day and I will still love this til the day I die, UBISOFT IS GOATED🔥🔥🔥
@Globez123 Yes, Rayman dies in one hit from everything in the game. But he's got infinite lifes and the game is generous with checkpoints, so even this level is not as frustrating as it looks like!
I seriously hated this level but couldn't let go of my control, because if I turned off the system, I had to restart from beginning of the level. So it took me about 2 hours to complete what this video did in 4.16 minutes. I seriously hate how developers designed this level. This was a torture, not fun at all.
I was born 2008 so I never played Rayman Origins. I never knew about it either. So now I play Rayman Legends. Watching this video made me think. “What the heck, such good graphics in 2011?” Then I see the game. Lol and I wondered why it looked different
Daym. Luckily my phone was reset a while ago or that level would have destroyed my whole entire week. If someone can have a bad day then someone can have a bad week
I couldn't help but notice the arguments concerning Rayman Origins being a kids game here. I usually don't get involved in these arguments that often end up going nowhere, but since my feelings for the game is so strong (its my favorite game ever!), I can't help but make my contribution right now. Unlike many recent games, RO actually has a combination of creativity, beautiful graphics AND a unique sense of humor. Plus, would kids be able to play hard levels like this one? Very unlikely!
I was thinking this will be a really nice bonus, award for hard work... and then OMG That's was worse than last chasing teeth ;o I'm so proud of myself cause I finished it
one trcik to finish this level .. u always want to start with a " heart " so you can afford an extra hit .. if u dont have it play a previous level of thr map .. get a " heart " then proceed to play this level
When I completed this with my siblings...I knew right then and there...if we could accomplish (the boss, me and my little brother did the level...) this, WE COULD ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING!!!!!
I have to laugh every time at the beginning of this video at the 3 undead at the front of the screen playing bowls with human skulls. They sound hilarious
The second thing is that the camera often is zoomed out, so I cannot look at the beautiful artstyle properly. It happens at times though, and that's during those times where I can enjoy it to it's fullest potential. (I can see the reasoning for the zoom-out thing though, as it clearly is much better gameplay-wise) I just love to appreciate all of the game's qualities, and this game had a lot of fantastic properties that I appreciate to it's fullest.
...I'm gonna regret going through this once I get all the teeth (only need one more... 8( )...I mean, Moody Clouds is bad enough...but THIS...*shudder*
finding the teeth then beating this level changes a man
Spicy Water ikr
really agree
Yes
Me when 9yrs old: 👁️👄👁️
Yeah or a kid. I played this secret level on my 9th birthday and that’s when I beat the game
I hate it when I'm taking a bath and minding my own business and suddenly a creepy bug comes and beats my eyes out.

This boss is relatively easy to beat if we know how. The rest of the level though, make me feel like doing speedrun in "Moody Clouds" for hours.
SuryanChandra that last boss is hard ok it looks is because he done loads of practis
This level will forever haunt my nightmares
ze babyglockable I know right it's so creepy flowers that eat you and creepy zombie people SO SPOOKY

i spent hours to pass that damn bonus... this is the 1st time a game put me in suffer for hours :/
I so loved this game. It was great to see Rayman go back to 2D where it belongs. And I had so much fun with this level and the temple runs.
MrPhilsterable i agree
Me too
How the hell did I do this as a 8 year old... I remember defeating the boss and then falling in live with the nymph 😂🙏 (I still love goth baddies to this day)
I love how they just have those epic running parts reminds me of sonic rush on the final level.
Another thing is that by this point you have total mastery over Rayman and his physics. When you tap jump, you know exactly how high that short hop is gonna be each and every time, and the level is designed around you knowing that fact.
Bruh I loved the underworld when I was younger I just love how it looks
This game is like a relationship with nu purpose:
You try and try and try. And teach you get further it gets even harder......
Imagine if there weren't any checkpoints in this game! xD
This level was insanely hard the first few times I did it. That was a good run. Only 2 deaths. Possibly 3 since it looks like an extra cut was made before the final boss.

so *this* is my childhood
That is the most hell filled level i've ever seen. And i've played all the levels in Rayman Legends.
@mordecai1243
you must be smoking something bad if you think this IS kids game. This game is full of content not for kids
To me..
I just dont care, to me *its fine*
@PtiLudo I didn't even know you could touch the screen to catch bubbles until I completed the game and reached this point.
1:44 task failed successfully
Esse jogo SEM ESTRESSAR te faz aos poucos ficar muito habilidoso. O Level Design e a gamificação desse Rayman é impecável.
This level took to me *2 HOURS* even with my friend!!!!!
I spent 2 days on this level and when I beat it I was crying of happiness
Why is there a thing going lalalalala lala la in the Boss room?! Seriously why?!
Mushroom Head Porn music. XD
its the boss herself
The Boss is a sister that is hitting puberty. That's why she is so ugly, itchy and easily by such a tiny creature.
Rayman Origins is way harder than legends
@NovaGypsy Well I think it's very evident (especially the part where the fireballs at the bottom are shooting at you there is a clear edit since it's a checkpoint zone) that he did take a number of tries to beat this as anyone would. I still wonder why this level wasn't in Legends.
This whole level and the boss was kinda disturbing but also amazing
Who else beat the game
I only have two qualms about this game. this was my childhood gameand to be fair i never got to the end so nice to see some others did it
thanks for showing me this
I'd play it again but I remember I got all the achievements for this game back in the day.
Hardest level of a videogame i ever finished ... 3 hours for doing this one >
That was amazing! I can't wait to fight that boss.
good work :) this took me a lot longer to get the hang of. tough level and great game
Pov: i just finished this level today, After not playing for 2 years and i'm so happy 🥳

Nice Video cut 😃 i have been need 5 hours to master This lvl
This level makes life look easy
He actually edited the video, like it's said in the description. But I agree, he is good :)
This is Ultrakill P2 of our childhoods
Although boss is really short for a final one, which is a shame
even when i battle the last boss i always think that he has some cool braclets
Wow, this guy is a badass. The hardest level in the game and he escaped WITHOUT A SCRATCH
@Globez123 Yes, Rayman dies in one hit from everything in the game. But he's got infinite lifes and the game is generous with checkpoints, so even this level is not as frustrating as it looks like!
the part with the fire has some cool music
no lie...the coolest i've seen rayman in a while
@ekimmak It's infinite, every time you go through a door it's a checkpoint so no worries on that regard
This level was absolutely hard. Except the boss
I seriously hated this level but couldn't let go of my control, because if I turned off the system, I had to restart from beginning of the level. So it took me about 2 hours to complete what this video did in 4.16 minutes.

Atleast he got a dlc and became a legend in brawlhala
Who's the nymph that appears after defeating the boss?

Rayman Origins meets Super Meat Boy
I'm just glad Super Meat Boy gave me enough experience to make this game only slightly hard
ah good ol rayman one of the most challenging platforming games out there :D
Nicely done! Very very good, i had to play this on and on again.. great level xD
I couldn't help but notice the arguments concerning Rayman Origins being a kids game here. I usually don't get involved in these arguments that often end up going nowhere, but since my feelings for the game is so strong (its my favorite game ever!), I can't help but make my contribution right now.

I was thinking this will be a really nice bonus, award for hard work... and then OMG That's was worse than last chasing teeth ;o I'm so proud of myself cause I finished it
that is the fastest final boss i have ever seen.
i must say if kids can pass the underworld their skill on games is far more superior than mine when i was a kid
The livid dead falls off the tree when you punch him lol
finished this level again today. when i was youngh i did this level too and it took me like a hour but now it was kinda easy good game great memories
yea it’s kinda sad when u finish it
one trcik to finish this level .. u always want to start with a " heart " so you can afford an extra hit .. if u dont have it play a previous level of thr map .. get a " heart " then proceed to play this level
I let my PS3 switch on 2 days to finish this level... I don't thought that rayman could be so hard
1:44 holy crap, you got lucky beyond human understanding.
He died once. But yes, it's very impressive to say the least.
If you want to do this level and you don’t want to get the teeth, play Rayman legends and try to get the boss level for this. Good Luck.
I tore out of the armchair of my couch in frustration at this level.
i may have played this level... but i dont remember cuz it was like 2 years since i played the game
I did this level in 2 hours and 20 minutes =D
Like I just got through beating this level..and dear god is it hard! It's all about trial and error in getting through it.
Grade A art, background, and music though.
This man is a beast i cant even get all the teeth so yeah
hear that you have good reflexes if you spend too fast that's what I think
yay! thanks mom!
@samvideogamemanpro I don't think so because this was when rayman was born and if not well it was a theory...
I know this level, you have to colekt all the red diamond form the runing piano.
just by looking, I think this is probably the hardest side-scroller ever!!!
This is not the Final Boss, this is the Hidden or Extra Boss.
When I completed this with my siblings...I knew right then and there...if we could accomplish (the boss, me and my little brother did the level...) this, WE COULD ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING!!!!!
Just Platinumed this game on the Vita. And this level did take quite the few tries. The boss was a bit unsatisfactory though.
Don't feel bad, they were already dead.

yeah I get that, but my comment is requesting a no death vid. Because that would be baller.
took me a while to get this down - still dont think i could do it as smoothly as this though :). tough level and great game
woooo this guy can take video footage from 3 attempts and splice it together. do it in 1 cut please.
looks like grandma's holiday in Rayman legends music game
I'm surprised how many people are stupid enough to point that out, and also a three take video is pretty impressive anyway this one took me ages
Search "rayman origins soundtrack livid", and you'll find.
I miss the old Rayman :(
3:16 so lucky the fireball missed by that much
...Wow. If that had been me, I would have died a lot and eventually rage quit.
ive gotten to the point where i can one-shot the first 2 parts, im trying 2 get 2 the point where i can one-shot the whole thing including the boss
