The new Yamaha YSP-2500 retails for $1,000, and sits in the middle of Yamaha’s Sound Projector range. The YSP-2500 features their Digital Sound Projector technology that beams sound off walls for discrete virtual surround channels without extra speakers. In addition, $1,000 nets you a wireless subwoofer, a CD-quality aptX Bluetooth connection, HDMI with audio return channel, HD audio decoding, and an IR repeater on the back of the unit for those setups where the soundbar might block the IR receiver on your display.

Does my room has to be perfectly square to experience this at its best? My room gets slightly wider in the rear half

I have Yamaha RX-A2070BL 9.2-channel home theater receiver. What is the best sound bar and subwoofer I can use with it? what do you think of Yamaha ysp-2700 or yas-706. Thank you

Charging $1000 (American) for this is just obnoxious. I was looking for a sound bar for my mom and found a very nice JVC surround sound bar on clearance for $100 Canadian. It has a subwoofer output so after that I found a great deal on a subwoofer from Yamaha for $58.
The subwoofer was an open box item, but nothing was wrong with it so I took it. The total I paid for the whole system with tax included was $185 Canadian so that's about $160 in American money. You can find much better deals if you are determined. My mom is super happy with her system and I just love the sound coming out of it.

Do you know of any sound bar which is not a $1,000 USD in price? Could you recommend one sound bar from $300-400 USD price range? Thanks for this video. By the way, if I were to buy something for $1000 or above, I would buy a 7.1 A/V Denon receiver.

Can the sound bar be tuned into my Samsung Tv remote, so I can use the Tv remote for sound bar volume?

Got rid of my Kef eggs speakers and Denon av Receiver for this Soundbar. Really disappointed with it. Waste of money and we'll overpriced.

Derek In Cambs why? May i ask? Did u read all the great reviews to only to be dissapointed ? I bought the 3300 today, should sound better then the 2500 i heared. Sound is OK but not filling the room, let alone any hint of a 5.1 simulation. To be really honest and nog sarcastic, my Logitech Z-2300 pc speakers are WAY better and theyre older, no HDMI nothing.
Im curious what your reasons are

Tomorrow Morning (May 2016), I am driving out to Toronto. THere is a store selling both the YSP2500 and the YSP3300 for 1299 canadian. Is there any reason, I shouldn't pick up the 3300 ?

Help! How to set my gaming option of audio with soundbar? 5.1 7.1 or stereo? What option to choose for surround sound with my sound projector? (YSP 2500)

Run the intellibeam calibration. Then (if 2500 is like the 3300) be hugely dissapointed as it doesnt fill shit (the room) let alone any hint of a surround emulation especially in a crappy room
