Thanks for your effort. We test drove Kiger RXZ CVT version for my colleague before refresh. They had actually raised the prices also. Drivability is v good. Good space inside. Rubber band effect is very minimal. Due to recent craze for Sunroof (I had shared your podcast on this also), my colleague had opted for Kia Sonet iMT - HTX.

Three cylinder engines are good in terms of reliability when they are naturally aspirated. Turbo engines with 3 cylinder are better avoided if at all you have an option to choose 4 cylinder engine in your budget.
All 3 cylinder engines currently in entry level cars like alto, kwid, celerio, wagonr are time tested and reliable. They extract right amount of power from the engines.
Bolero ,tuv 300 are also 3 cylinder engine,. Worst
I am using maruti wagon r 3 cylinder only.its crossed 1.1 lakhs kms without any hassles....

Dear Reign... I am fan of your channel nowadays as I am trying to buy my first car in India. As I was living in Kuwait more than 30+ years was using different cars. My last SUV was KIA Sorrento 3.8L/6C AMT version. I am not the aggressive driver. Now relocated back to India and living in Bangalore. Buying car in India is really tough decision due to enormous models and variant. Since I am touching 60, my liking of car is changed now. I want a mid SUV and AT gear for convenience. About to book this Renault Niger due to it's style and price range. But again got confused. About to take my DL. Hence I am requesting you to advise me the right car selection. Which engine? Petrol or Diesel? MT or AT? Please help me brother...

Hi bro, have you bought non turbo or turbo and whats the on road price of rxl?
I am using the 2021 model of the same... Overall for a city and highway drive, the car is perfect for family use, however, while driving in a high slope area (uphill), I feel the pulling power is not adequate and up to the mark... With one or two persons, it is not an issue, however, if we go with 4 or 5 people, it is quite hard for the pickup... Pros: Milege, Driving feel, comfort... Cons: Sunroof, Looking similar to KWID in front (looks like a brother to KWID), build (not up to the mark for the money we pay), 999 CC engine (3 cylinders)... After my experience with this car, overall I can give it 3.5 stars out of 5....

RXE and other variants, I am not having an idea bro... better to check in the showroom directly... I heard in the new model we have cruise control and all... So better check in the showroom once and then decide to take....

Since u brought up sub 4m, did u know sub 4m hybrids would be taxed 43%? Not even 29%.
Not that there are any cars in this segment yet but manufacturers should lobby for the same 7% tax sop bigger hybrid cars are enjoying. So that sub 4 meter cars with < 1.2 liter petrol hybrid engines are taxed only 22%.
This would be a very interesting segment because the money saved in taxes will be paying for the added costs of hybrid technology. Efficiency will be in the region of 40km/l for a full hybrid car costing < 10 lakh rupees.
Maruti might launch the swift strong hybrid to break open that segment

Cons:RXE is the base variant.. Not much features. 1 ltr 3 cylinder engine.
Pros: Space, sporty, Style
Those are not at all cons haha show me a similar priced vehicle without those cons please in base variant
Main con is rear wheel upper side is not covered so water will go inside on tail lamp it's a main con

Iam just a bit confused between Kiger rxz opt pre turbo and Sonet htx DCT
I test drove sonet in noon
And kiger turbo afternoon
Out of both i found kiger to be more responsive and peppy and even testdrove magnite the previous day which had very plain and unappealing interior compared to kiger and sonet
Iam confused whether should I go for sonet because of the much premium instrument cluster and sunroof or kiger because of the best package within 13lakhs

now a days back seats are like "kottai thaandi nee varakoodaathu naanum vara maatein..." ,very irritating is seat belt buckles. Can't lay down and sleep on family or friend's lap,these buckles giggles behind and create uncomfortable. Old cars create good bond with family, now a days cars separates everyone inside 🚗 car😂😅
