pro tip for any artists out there. they make great drawing models! I own two and my biggest one just sits on my pencil bag and let's me draw her. 10/10 pet for animation or illustration students.
All I can say is just how amazing My Beardie is. She sits with me for hours while I watch films, study, play xbox, walk around the house. And she actually watches the Telly. She loves Top gear and doctor who, she does not like Heath ledger's joker, she hides from him. Also, if I play metallica, she freaks out, but has a huge love for Fall out boy and Turisas! If she doesn't get a scratch she starts bopping her head. When I got her my parents were unsure of reptiles as they didn't see them as loving animals, now they love lizards and will happily have her jumping all over them too. She misses me when I go away by moping and not coming out for anyone. The do care and they do love. Fantastic pet and again, just so amazing and cool! :D
I remember being 14 watching this and I was like “Damn I want one “ I asked my mom and the answer simple “Hell no” fast forward 3 years and I have 2 bearded dragons going for my 3rd 💀😂😂 she practically gets entertainment out of their antics 🤦🏾♂️😂 they are goofballs lowkey
Sand is actually a horrible substrate, if the dragons ingest any of it, it can lead to impaction which can often be fatal. Other then that, this video is pretty good though.
Wow you're stupid, sand is NOT what they would live on in the wild, they live on hard packed dirt/earth. For goodness sake, there from inland Australia, not the Sahara.
My Dragons love the sand Adults I understand if they where baby dragons then yea and it really all depends I keep half of the tank sand and the other carpet the sand are is wear the bask and sleep while the other is for eating or getting out of the heat
+Katie Zientek Actually, stacking is a sign of dominance, the lizard on top is usually the dominant one, as hes trying to get the most UV rays, and grow the biggest.
I have a Bearded Dragon called Angus and he is sooooooo spoiled! He is very friendly and loveable and loves nothing more than to sit on the couch and look out of the window.
They actually can bite you and it hurts like hell xD They don't do it on purpose though, but when you're holding something they think is food, sometimes they get a bit overexited... :P
Yeah, it's mostly by accident. I was bitten by my sister's beardie a few times. Not enough to hurt, but it doesn't feel nice. They have an unusually strong bit for having such tiny teeth.
I really love this presentator. I like the his voice and the way he talks. really gives life to the video. I'd like to see more video's about bearded dragons.
Literally you should never allow older and much larger bearded dragons around juveniles. All they see is food, and they WILL eat a juvenile. Trust me, I have seen it.. it is terrifying and so incredibly sad.
Beardies are so cute and sassy! I recently fell in love with them as pets because they're super cute. They're sassy, but they're not mean and really don't mean any harm (unless you're a hornworm or a cricket.)
All I say is they don’t live on full sand in the wild, only sprinkles of it here and there. Therefore don’t keep em on a bunch sand in captivity. If you use it only use a little mixed in with other substrate like eco earth coconut fiber. Or just use eco earth coconut fiber. Many different substrates you can use. Good video besides that!
at 0:37, you said that they maxed out at 18 inches, i've read that they get up to 24 inches, and asked some employees at the pet store. I'm getting one, and his name'll be Loki. thanks for making this vid!
Now help me out, I've had a beardie for 6 years now and i love him seriously i really like my beardie i know what to do in nearly everything apart from this, My local pets at home told me not to put them in sand preferebly put them in carpets, Sand can get wet and if they put there foot in it if it hardens up it can pull off their nails and infect them, is this true?
for baby bearded dragons never use sand wait till there adults now this is different with everyone for me I keep half the tank with sand and the food section on carpet on a little platform my beaded dragons love the sand and like to dig etc it;s all about personal preference but as stated never use sand for baby bearded dragons
some of the most amazing flooring i have ever come acrossed is White proso millet. It is a seed like material alowing them to dig in it and if they swallow any of it it will be digestesed and cause no impaction and it is also very inexpensive 40$ for 50 pounds of it
I would highly recommend getting a Bearded Dragon if you're looking for a good lizard. They cam just be fed like a dog every day and they'll sleep for most of their day (at least mine did). Lost my 2 Beardies to a bone disease that was highly uncommon, but they lived a good 3 years before that. 10/10 rating on a pet like this.
yay!!this will defiantly help me because my mom is hopefully planning on getting me a bearded dragon!!I don't know much about lizards but this definitely helped!!Thx!!
Just got a 10 month old for my son today from some nice owners that don't have the time any more. and he's a cool pet. He likes to chil on your shoulder and seems to enjoy being petted. And I inherited a cockroach farm which he gobbles up. Guess he likes em a lot.
I am thinking of buying a baby bearded dragon,I have a few questions I would love to be answered. 1. What's the littlest size tank they can live in? 2. What do I feed them daily? 3.can I feed them veggies one part of the day and then crickets or that food you recommended on your site later that day so I'm feeding them twice? 4.Do I HAVE to feed them mice?
Damian Berryhill your first question they can stay in a 10 gallon but upgrade then when they get older, for your second question feed then one day salad mainly collard greens and the other live insects maybe don't feed then for one day a week up to you they can easily be over feed, for your third question yes you have two
Don't listen to this guys tips, he doesn't know what he's talking about and just treats them like some kind of display. I mean, look at how he forces them into uncomfortable positions like that, do you think that they like having someone repeatedly tap on their face? His finger is as big as that beardie's head.
I'm assuming it depends on how you take care of your beardie, or if you have an older beardie from the start and not a baby, they could come to you a bit aggressive and bite, but also depends on how they were raised before.
Is this a good schedule to keep an adult bearded dragon on? Bearded dragon eating schedule Monday: vegetables Tuesday:vegetables with superworms Wednesday:vegetables with crickets(calcium) Thursday:vegetables with super worms (calcium) Friday:vegetables Saturday: vegetables with crickets(calcium) Sunday:vegetables
I have a bearded dragon that live on sand and hadn't have any problems to their health. Mainly their cage is always clean and food/water bowl is sand free. At night I put my female up to my neck and she will wiggle closer to me and fall asleep. Talk about a cuddle buddy.
I had a bearded dragon for 10 years. I was bitten a few times, but she never did it on purpose. It was only ever if food wouldn't stick to her tongue, and she couldn't see my finger. It wasn't all that painful, especially in comparison to the pets I have now; cockatiels. They may have small bills, but out of all bites I've ever gotten (amazon parrot, macaw, umbrella cockatoo, african grey parrot, turtle, meerkat, etc.), one of my cockatiels bites is still among the most painful.
i have a birdie and i love him soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much
Ive always wanted to own a Beardie and plan on buying one once I get my own place and get more financially stable. Problem is, I've never owned a reptile before. Are they good 'beginner' reptiles?
Yes! I have one myself, like for a year now. Never owned a reptile before, they are super sweet and simple to have, but you still have much work to do, it's more a hobby than a pet.
I recommend a leopard gecko. it was my second reptile and the easiest to keep care of! ALSO DO NOT BUY FROM PETCO!! THEY ARE BAD TO THEM! i didnt know when i had it that there tails need to be fat!! when i bought it i though it was fine but it died because petco doesnt sell healthy leopard geckos! ALTHO there beardies and other reptiles are okay from my experience
DoopDog124 Not always. Petco can sell bad dragons too, it really depends on the store. Beardies are pretty easy to care for, mind you do your research. I would suggest buying from a breeder. They can be more expensive, but it is worth it to know your animal is healthy and happy.
I would say a beardie over a leopard gecko because with all lizards for the most part calcium deficiency is a big problem but I haven't had it what so ever to my bear dies but multiple times to my leopards all that had great care GL with your new pet! :D
"Never gonna bite you" hah! I beg to differ my baby beardie bit me today. To be fair though she is just a baby and I've only had her for a few days she's still settling in. They can bite when they're babies but that's a lot of baby animals tbh
Owen Hanson you don't need to carpet is a fine environment if you don't raise them on bark or sand they will typically try to eat it which isn't a good thing it can cause digestive problems but there are some sand brands out there that are safe for bearded dragons if you really want to try something else
They scare me, but my teenager wants one so I told her I'd do research because I might let her have one but I don't do insects so she'll have to always take care of it and feed it.
Could a bearded dragon be healthy without eating insects? If so, what foods should they eat instead? I don't own one I'm just working on a short story and the main character has a few. I have a weak stomach when it comes to bugs, so I'd really rather not have my character feeding them to his pets.
I had a bearded dragon. I had him for 5 or 6 years and he died last year I miss him. Like or comment if you feel the same about any animals you had that died
so I have a bearded dragon about the size of your medium sized one and I have trouble keeping him from trying to run off when i put him on my chest or set him down for a moment. He is okay with me holding him and only trys to run off when he is bored or hungry. Any suggestions to help train him to not run off as much?
My bearded dragon sometimes bites me by accident because I try to train her by hand feeding. How do I train my bearded dragon more easy to do? If you make a video thanks😄
I thought I'd just ask here, I'm a little concerned about my beardie because I was trying out my electric guitar and my amp when hey wire, it even hurt my ears and another time he was sleeping and I lifted his log up to check for crickets and then it fell and the cage shook also I've been trying to make sure he's ok by using light to try to get him to open his eyes and such but sometimes he won't, so I'm wondering could he be deaf I'm really stressed out right now! Thanks
+A kid from Africa It means it either wants out of the tank to explore, or is interested in the person in front of the tank. If it wanted to fight, it would bob it's head, open its mouth really wide and puff up its beard. What the other guy described is typical behaviour of a curious bearded dragon.
Why are beardies considered a great beginner lizard? Their eating habits seems a bit overwhelming to a newbie. I ask this because my 6yr old wants a lizard.
"never gonna bite you" lmfao unless you get a male and put your hand in it's cages, its territory and move it around xD my beardie is as sweet as can be outside his cage, but when i put my hand inside his cage he loves to chase and bite lol
Thanks for sharing the info. I was wondering how you get them together without issues. We bought two as babies, one was a runt, the other too dominant with the runt that turned out to be a female (not same family/litter). The male bit the females feet as a baby, we saved one, but lost one so we separated them and can't let them out together. We leave cages open when we are home, female hangs out on top of her cage and male likes to run around house quite a bit. The one time he was able to get out when she was running around, he mounted her and we couldn't get them separated. Now, I know they want to mate, but how to I reintroduce them together without them fighting. Should I just let them get it over with and it will smooth out on it's own or do I need to keep them apart until we want them to mate? The idea of getting two was more for companionship, I don't want them to have to stare at each other from across the room for the next 15 years...
They're not very social animals in general, and you would have to house them separately to avoid dominance issues. They will be perfectly happy to sit with you, so no its not necessary, or even advised unless you just want another one.
Depends, I highly recommend starting with a baby bearded dragon for 2 reasons 1 much cheaper and 2 if you raise the baby dragon it will build trust with you as in wont hiss or bite etc besides they grow up so fast
i really want one of those they're really adorable i love them, however i have a question how much are them? in the philippines? can anybody answer? thank you
Mine was okay at first. He was almost full grown when I git him and when he reached adulthood, he just changed. He became extremely dominant and aggressive. It got to the point where would open the cage door and he would run towards it and jump right out at me. I figure he was a made- to- be breeder and I sold him shortly after. I would spoil him and handle him a lot too. Goes to show that if you don't buy them as juveniles, they could dish out a lot of work for you with taming. They may also just be aggressive or passive by nature, no matter what you do. :/
No mine just got more aggressive. It started happening more and he would do it with his mouth open. I had him on my chest once and he almost bit my nose.
pro tip for any artists out there. they make great drawing models! I own two and my biggest one just sits on my pencil bag and let's me draw her. 10/10 pet for animation or illustration students.
they are also great to draw with. my beardie sits on my shoulder as I doodle for class.
I don't have bearded dragon so I look up a picture which isn't as great
Green I'm an artist and I'm getting one! My lovely future beardie thanks you
All I can say is just how amazing My Beardie is. She sits with me for hours while I watch films, study, play xbox, walk around the house. And she actually watches the Telly. My dragons are pretty cool. They like Metal and Video games too. check out my beardie video i just posted.
I just read this. What a cut post! Your little girl on Instagram?
Hana Jones can you feed the beardie with only fruit and not insects?
Strahinja Bosnjak no they need insects it is a part of their diet
@@PlanetFinesse how can ghey watch u play xbox just like put them on yoyr desk?
I just bought my first baby beardie a few days ago and I absolutely love him! They have quite the character and really fun to watch them hunt crickets
I used to catch these I'm the wild in Australia as a kid 30years ago I didn't know you can have them as a pet ,I love them
Where did you catch them?
Im just laughing at the three bearded dragons stack.
so, uh, where were the care tips? literally you gave us the history/where they're from and why you should get one lmfao
+starrywishy (Wishy) There tends to be a lot of that on this channel, cool guy but not the place for expertise on any one species really.
that sucks... i just wish the title wasnt so misleading haha
An unfortunate trend on you-tube my friend. If you are looking for real information, check my channel for contact details.
Clickbait time !!!
+Shane no content....
George Finnigan in nature they live on sand and if you put them in a bath reguarly they wil poop the sand out so sand is just as good
Wow you're stupid, sand is NOT what they would live on in the wild, they live on hard packed dirt/earth. For goodness sake, there from inland Australia, not the Sahara.
I was told that only Beardies under 6 months are in danger of sand.
George Finnigan No if you care for them right sand will be just fine
My Dragons love the sand Adults I understand if they where baby dragons then yea and it really all depends I keep half of the tank sand and the other carpet the sand are is wear the bask and sleep while the other is for eating or getting out of the heat
"They will never bite you"
"GODDAMMIT STEEVE"
I've never heard anyone say they live up to 20 years before. 8-12 seems to be what i hear ...
depends on your husbandry and their genetics. Some beardies can live up to 20 but that's usually around the max.
no its 20 years
No cause the oldest one ever was 14 years old
Andy Terrazas I know
+Last Panda one lived to be 25
they don't live on sand they live on bark, rocks and dry soil. I live in Australia
Erika Bilek exactly!
at least some one read my comment. thanks!
Thank you!
I did a sand mat ,bark,hammock,and rocks(fake) , and plants.
Care tip: they like to stack on top of each other
+Katie Zientek not a care tip stacking is actually bad for them because the bottom ones are getting the lease uv rays
+timmy smith was a joke
+Katie Zientek Actually, stacking is a sign of dominance, the lizard on top is usually the dominant one, as hes trying to get the most UV rays, and grow the biggest.
*Protip (͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
it's so not obvious (lol)
I have a Bearded Dragon called Angus and he is sooooooo spoiled! He is very friendly and loveable and loves nothing more than to sit on the couch and look out of the window.
They actually can bite you and it hurts like hell xD They don't do it on purpose though, but when you're holding something they think is food, sometimes they get a bit overexited... :P
+HerrRoehrich Awe that's kinda cute XD
Yeah, their claws also get REALLY sharp, they don't scratch you on purpose tho, they just like to climb on you
Uni Horn Smiles There just the perfect pets! Good for people that have low immune systems, derpy cute, dont move very much, calm relaxing.
I agree but I’m very much more than likely it was just to show the different ages of bearded dragons and for demonstrating
Shouldn't keep on sand can cause impaction
+Pet Addicton1000 That's for babies.
+Under Small No, it's all beardies. Mine is 2 years old and I keep it on stone tile. Would you eat sand? You're an adult.
+Inoka01 are u criticising me or under small but good point either way
*****
sorry, meant to reply to under small
well adults need sand, babys need reptile carpet
I also have a Beardy, named Bruite, and got HIM because he was special, out of all of the ones we saw, he was the only one with a yellow head.
man I really loved those 8 care tips. but in all honesty it was pretty cool to learn about their history
I'm getting one of these guys as soon as I'm out of college. :D
Um I don't think you even gave any tips
He’s just describing their care?
Beardies are so cute and sassy! I recently fell in love with them as pets because they're super cute. They're sassy, but they're not mean and really don't mean any harm (unless you're a hornworm or a cricket.)
All I say is they don’t live on full sand in the wild, only sprinkles of it here and there. Therefore don’t keep em on a bunch sand in captivity. If you use it only use a little mixed in with other substrate like eco earth coconut fiber. Or just use eco earth coconut fiber. Many different substrates you can use. Good video besides that!
Thanks for all the nice facts about bearded dragons I just got one yesterday
My friend just got a bierded dragon for Christmas and we love your videos
at 0:37, you said that they maxed out at 18 inches, i've read that they get up to 24 inches, and asked some employees at the pet store. I'm getting one, and his name'll be Loki. thanks for making this vid!
I'm a Spider enthusiast but these dragons are beyond cool. No hassle to maintain and he's very hygienic we'll be best friends. 😁
Love your details
Wow 15-20 years!😱
That's amazing!😄
Question: I just adopted an almost full grown bearded dragon. How would I go about bonding with him? I don't want to stress him or anything.
I don't know about that but it is risky as it can cause impaction. It is advisable to use solid substates such as repti carpet and tile.
for baby bearded dragons never use sand wait till there adults now this is different with everyone for me I keep half the tank with sand and the food section on carpet on a little platform my beaded dragons love the sand and like to dig etc it;s all about personal preference but as stated never use sand for baby bearded dragons
some of the most amazing flooring i have ever come acrossed is White proso millet. It is a seed like material alowing them to dig in it and if they swallow any of it it will be digestesed and cause no impaction and it is also very inexpensive 40$ for 50 pounds of it
Plain sand is bad, they don't live in sand, they live on clay like dirt...mine loves to dig so carpet isn't great but it's safe
just got one for my 16th birthday! Great animals.
They literally only make you happy 😊
Haha right on, I got my little baby bd on the 6th of this month, he is so awesome!
I'm getting one for my birthday soon thx for the tips
yay!!this will defiantly help me because my mom is hopefully planning on getting me a bearded dragon!!I don't know much about lizards but this definitely helped!!Thx!!
Braeburnt AJ you should do some research :/
Oh I know there diet and I have been doing a lot have research the last 2 weeks,I'm just saying this one really helped me
generics of a bearded dragon is that they are quite easy to care of. they need air, food, drink of water and a place for them to sleep/play
They're so freaking adorable, I hope to have one one day!
They're great pets, I love mine :D Getting one is so worth it (and the investment)
I just got my bearded dragons yesterday, and I had KNOW idea I was getting them.
Just got a 10 month old for my son today from some nice owners that don't have the time any more. and he's a cool pet. He likes to chil on your shoulder and seems to enjoy being petted. And I inherited a cockroach farm which he gobbles up. Guess he likes em a lot.
I have one and named it Draco :D He is currently sleeping on my shoulder right now. Awwww sooo cuteeeeee :3
I am thinking of buying a baby bearded dragon,I have a few questions I
would love to be answered.
1. What's the littlest size tank they can live in?
2. What do I feed them daily?
3.can I feed them veggies one part of the day and then crickets or that
food you recommended on your site later that day so I'm feeding them twice?
4.Do I HAVE to feed them mice?
Damian Berryhill your first question they can stay in a 10 gallon but upgrade then when they get older, for your second question feed then one day salad mainly collard greens and the other live insects maybe don't feed then for one day a week up to you they can easily be over feed, for your third question yes you have two
Mine is always on sand it loves it since it's black sand that gets nice warm under the lamp. In nature they live on sand too
I've always wanted one. Thinking of buying one in the future lol
Don't listen to this guys tips, he doesn't know what he's talking about and just treats them like some kind of display. I mean, look at how he forces them into uncomfortable positions like that, do you think that they like having someone repeatedly tap on their face? His finger is as big as that beardie's head.
I have one there really good pets
Also I love your profile pick and youtube name
i have three and they are good pets!
I'm assuming it depends on how you take care of your beardie, or if you have an older beardie from the start and not a baby, they could come to you a bit aggressive and bite, but also depends on how they were raised before.
thumbs uo for cutest beardy pile ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is this a good schedule to keep an adult bearded dragon on?
Bearded dragon eating schedule
Monday: vegetables
Tuesday:vegetables with superworms
Wednesday:vegetables with crickets(calcium)
Thursday:vegetables with super worms (calcium)
Friday:vegetables
Saturday: vegetables with crickets(calcium)
Sunday:vegetables
I have a bearded dragon that live on sand and hadn't have any problems to their health. Mainly their cage is always clean and food/water bowl is sand free. At night I put my female up to my neck and she will wiggle closer to me and fall asleep. Talk about a cuddle buddy.
He meant for baby dragon they can't be on sand for there aggressively eating habit as baby but sand is ok for adult
When do you give them supplements? How much? What kind?
The best pet reptile ♥

this is so useful ;)
Can a dragon live in a 40 gallon tank and be fine? Or should I get something larger and if I should get a bigger tank, what size?
So cute! Thanks for the info, my boyfriend and I have been thinking about getting one! :)
Defently take one if u want one. They are very nice i have one for 3 days and he is almost not scared for me.

I'd love to put one on my shoulder as I skate :D
a mate dont put him in danger ;)
they are SO cute
"Never gonna bite you" hah! I beg to differ my baby beardie bit me today. To be fair though she is just a baby and I've only had her for a few days she's still settling in. They can bite when they're babies but that's a lot of baby animals tbh
I kept my reptile carpet in for my bearded dragon should I change it since he is now a adult
Owen Hanson you don't need to carpet is a fine environment if you don't raise them on bark or sand they will typically try to eat it which isn't a good thing it can cause digestive problems but there are some sand brands out there that are safe for bearded dragons if you really want to try something else
Actually if you get calcium sand then they can digest it easily
I love bearded dragons I have two and I got them last night
They scare me, but my teenager wants one so I told her I'd do research because I might let her have one but I don't do insects so she'll have to always take care of it and feed it.
I just got two juvenile bearded dragons. any tips?
can you use soil for bearded dragons?
never gonna bite you? mine buys me all the time. and she's really fat so it hurts
That says more about you than it does the species.
You need to get them to trust you more as a owner and not a chew toy or food......
If you have a bearded dragon that bites, its because of the way you raised it.
i didnt raise her
Who did?
they are quite expensive to maintain...
Could a bearded dragon be healthy without eating insects? If so, what foods should they eat instead? I don't own one I'm just working on a short story and the main character has a few. I have a weak stomach when it comes to bugs, so I'd really rather not have my character feeding them to his pets.
My future beardie thanks you, he also says welcome to the future.
How could you claim to love these reptiles and suggest sand as a substrate?
Sand is a really bad substrate it can cause impaction, so I recommend a repticarpet or maybe eco earth and rock mats work to but NO SAND
They grow up to 24 inches...
We’re can I buy the bag to carry my beardie around in
This is a perfect show for how laid back they are. I love them!
I had a bearded dragon. I had him for 5 or 6 years and he died last year I miss him. Like or comment if you feel the same about any animals you had that died
I had a Chameleon that died a few days ago.
My frog died a year ago I still miss her to this day
this is really useful for me I have a bearded dragon
Protip: they are less stressful if when you hold them where they can see out, we don't want a stressed beardie
so I have a bearded dragon about the size of your medium sized one and I have trouble keeping him from trying to run off when i put him on my chest or set him down for a moment.
Vyou helped me this my school assignment for thank you
Could I give them dead or frozen crickets?
Getting one soon
I thought I'd just ask here, I'm a little concerned about my beardie because I was trying out my electric guitar and my amp when hey wire, it even hurt my ears and another time he was sleeping and I lifted his log up to check for crickets and then it fell and the cage shook also I've been trying to make sure he's ok by using light to try to get him to open his eyes and such but sometimes he won't, so I'm wondering could he be deaf I'm really stressed out right now! Thanks
I have a bearded dragon it's winter and I'm really confused about what to do, he acts like he wants to be cold so has anyone got tips for me?
How long does it take for my beardie to reach full size? He's about 6 months right now
+124kikyo ive read 12 weeks but it varys
+124kikyo They normally reach adult size in about a year. He's still got a bit more time to grow.
full size is gonna be awhile
+124kikyo 1.5 years and i should know because i breed them
I was at petsmart and i saw a beardy in a cage and he or she walked up the the glass and kept tilting his head at me 😊
That means he wants to fight 😂
+A kid from Africa oh, XD
+A kid from Africa It means it either wants out of the tank to explore, or is interested in the person in front of the tank. If it wanted to fight, it would bob it's head, open its mouth really wide and puff up its beard. What the other guy described is typical behaviour of a curious bearded dragon.
Chris Amyotte STOP BULLYING ME!!! XD
+A kid from Africa Lol all good just want people to know the facts :)
Why are beardies considered a great beginner lizard? Their eating habits seems a bit overwhelming to a newbie. I ask this because my 6yr old wants a lizard.
how long sure i leave my bearded dragon light on
"never gonna bite you" lmfao unless you get a male and put your hand in it's cages, its territory and move it around xD my beardie is as sweet as can be outside his cage, but when i put my hand inside his cage he loves to chase and bite lol
Do you have a website that I could look at and do you sell beardie bag because I have a bearded dragon and I am looking for a beardie bag
So if I get one would you recommend just one or should I get two so they have a companion?
Just one, they can often eat the others if they are both males because they want to
Be the more
Dominate
Ya and unless u want babies u wouldn't get a femals
They're not very social animals in general, and you would have to house them separately to avoid dominance issues. They will be perfectly happy to sit with you, so no its not necessary, or even advised unless you just want another one.
Is it better to buy an adult one ?
Depends, I highly recommend starting with a baby bearded dragon for 2 reasons 1 much cheaper and 2 if you raise the baby dragon it will build trust with you as in wont hiss or bite etc besides they grow up so fast
Ty
so which part involved the care tips...
how many crickets should a bearded dragon eat per day?
as much as it wants unless you want a mini dragon, they grow really fast and have reps of not over eating
Where is there a shop open to get a lamps fo a bid dragon
i really want one of those they're really adorable i love them, however i have a question how much are them? in the philippines? can anybody answer? thank you
Mine was okay at first. :/
When he ran at you are you sure he wasn't trying to be handled, my beardy runs up my arm and sits on my shoulder whenever I open the tank.
No mine just got more aggressive. It started happening more and he would do it with his mouth open. I had him on my chest once and he almost bit my nose.
Just give him time to get used to you then, don't always try to get him out straight away. Maybe see if you can hand feed him and work your way up
Gameplay Fail I did and the more I did, the worse he got. It was just an unusual case for a beardie.
Do they like to be stacked ?
+Randy Quan they do it ti be closer to the heat
And to show dominance.
