  • We start in 1545. Kai approaches representing the Narita clan, saying they want to join the Hojo to work together to take down the Uesugi. First fight is against them. After they win, Kai is so impressed she insists that Ujiyasu strive to take over the land, but he dismisses the idea.
Then the Imagawa and Takeda start working together to attack the Hojo. Yoshimoto wants to take back land that Ujiyasu's father took from the Imagawa earlier and got Shingen to help. The Hojo fight them off, but choose not to press an attack and aim for peace. Kai is unsatisfied, saying that their people will just get worn down defending all the time. So Ujiyasu sends Kotaro off with a letter, telling Nobunaga of Yoshimoto's movements, in the hopes that it'll get him to focus on the Oda instead and prompt Shingen to aim for the capital by making an opening.
This lead to the three forces entering into an alliance sealed by theirs sons and daughters marrying into each other's families. Yoshimoto then comes up with the idea for them to all work together and head to the capital. Ujiyasu complains, but Shingen just says "well, can't argue against our brother-in-law" and is all for it. Ujiyasu is worried about their territories they leave behind, but Shingen convinces him by saying once they reach the capital, the wars will be over.
Their plan is for Shingen and Yoshimoto to march their armies for the capital while Ujiyasu marches north to deal with the Uesugi, all simultaneously. So we have another fight against the Uesugi. Kenshin actually thanks him for invading during the battle, being the warmonger that he is.
After Ujiyasu's victory, he sits down for a talk with Kenshin over drinks and asks to borrow his territory for a while so they can march on the Oda and make for the capital. While he's gone, he asks that Kenshin's forces guard Kanto from anyone that might go after it, like the Date. Kenshin agrees and says he will give them Aya as a hostage to show his sincerity. Ujiyasu refuses immediately because she terrifies him.
As Ujiyasu moves his forces to Etchu, Nobunaga surprises him by sending his main force to attack him instead of spreading out to hold off all of his foes. Ujiyasu decides to hold his ground, concluding that the longer he holds the Oda forces off the better odds Yoshimoto and Shingen have of breaking through on their sides. Then we get the cutscene at 52:06 where Yoshimoto and Shingen show up to help.
They win the fight, but then the Date march to attack Odawara so Ujiyasu turns around to go back to Kanto and defend it. Kotaro guesses that Nobunaga incited him into action. Kenshin helps for the fight. While they're doing that, Nobunaga forms an alliance with the Chosokabe and the Mori, so Ujiyasu heads back to the west to help Shingen and Yoshimoto.
Ujiyasu leads an attack on Azuchi, aiming to take out Nobunaga himself to make up for Shingen and Yoshimoto helping him before. After winning, their alliance successfully unites the land and they rule the country together in the cutscene at the end.
Another fun one, where the game just goes completely what-if on us.
