    Seasoned Pinto Beans recipe
    Clean/sanitize jars, lids, and rings
    1/2 tea spoon canning salt
    1 tea spoon minced onion
    1 tea spoon (aprox.) better than ham bullion
    Fill jar 3/4th full with par-soaked beans
    Add hot water until 1in head space
    De-bubble the jars
    Clean rims of jar with vinegar
    Add lids and rings
    Pressure can according to elevation for 90 minutes for quart jars. 75 minutes for pint jars.
    Allow to decompress naturally before removal.
    Ta-Daaaa seasoned beans!
    Thank you for this recipe!

    I overachieved. I bought two 8lb bags of dry pinto beans at the store. Put them out to soak. Kept having to put in more containers due to them soaking up all the water. Ended up with 35 quarts. Wow!!! Had one quart for dinner. Very yummy. Don’t think I’ll make that much all at once again

    • @lindasprepperkitchen
      @lindasprepperkitchen  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah 35 quarts🤗 I’m sure that was very time consuming.
