Not forgetting a couple of league cups and a missed opportunity to win the FA Cup against Chelsea, in respect of the negative tactical approach of Gregory. I digress. I’m so glad that we have a seat at the top table and also playing some great, great football, which is down to our owners who have been as good as their word since taking over as the owners of our great club. Of course, the turnaround in terms of football is nothing short of remarkable and the fans are in complete awe of this manager and his obvious ability. The fact that my nephew is now seeing a different version of Villa than what he has previously experienced, or even endured. Roll on Bayern. Love the show….UTV.
yes Roll on Bayern. One Things for sure they may be Good. But they can`t be as good as the Last team to visit Villa Park in the European Cup. That Marvellous Juventus Team that included 7 members of the world cup winning Italy team in 1982 ( Where they beat that great Brazil Team), and if that wasn`t enough they had arguably the best 2 players in europe at the time in Platini & Boniek and Roberto Bettega who only missed the world cup through injury.
Kosta Nedeljković 2 weeks ago started for Serbia and they held the European Champions Spain 0-0, they included the much vaunted Nico williams and Lamal. Why is Bogarde picked ahead of him. He`s just a year older and is not a natural right back. Are we waiting for him to cost us goals and a game.
Luke how do you access Unai's press conference so early? I enjoy watching the presser on Friday evening when it comes out on VillaTV but I would love to see it before you review it which I also enjoy.

Even under o neill when in my opinion villa played some of our best football,i dont remember having quality on the bench.currently we have players on the bench who could start.

I agree with Justin, before Unai came it just felt doom and gloom, I used to say to my wife that Aston Stupido had lost again and again never expected to win at most an away draw, but it is different the heavy atmoshere has gone there's hope and a sense of expectation, playing the likes of Liverpool, Arsenal, and Man City away I think to myself a win here would be welcome not how many are we going to lose by. Regarding emerys comments, i think he also means bogarde in this case. He might play konsa as RB because bogarde did struggle against a physical winger last game. Plus against wolves at home we will have 60% posession potentially, so its calling for carlos as CB.
