whats the reason shooting into corner of blocks works? is it some sort of player hitbox protruding partially through the block?

i think the reason is that since Minecraft calculates everything at 20 ticks per second, there will be a tick where the arrow's hitbox is slightly phased into the wall, causing it to be colliding with both the blocks and the player, and the collision with the player takes priority

@@kieran9499 the thing is, a player/entity doesn't even have to be touching the wall for the arrow to hit, they can even be in the center of the block they are standing on and the through-wall arrow still hits (so their hitbox won't even be touching the wall)

also if you shoot the arrow at a corner and press f3+b to see hitboxes, the arrow is indeed phased through the wall
