John got me into pen testing in the first place, with the CTF videos. Then going through HTB I figure I need to use burpsuite.. and look who’s tutorial comes up. A true god inspiring the next gen of cyber.
Good stuff, John. I attended one of your classes before, but we didn't get to mess around with webapp stuff using burp. While it's mostly basic webapp pentesting concepts you cover, the usage of the UI itself can be daunting!
This presentation is great in general however it is not for someone who in entirely new as there are some parts of this video where the user has to really pause and figure it out first. For example he was talking about running the webapp on a docker and proceeded very fast on how this is done. For newcomers, they won't even know what a docker is yet and why it is needed in this case. I would recommend this video to someone who have already done something in burp suite but not for entirely new and green learners of cybersecurity.
