    That's about how I do it! I like that you use max for steak, I do too. I never understood why the ninja manual says to just use high when I thought it was common knowledge that with steaks you cook with as high of heat as possible.

    • @WaveOvenRecipes
      @WaveOvenRecipes 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I have found max for any cooker is best for steaks. Unless, the cooker hits 800+° F. Then, a slightly lower temperature may be better 😅
      Although, I know some custom steak cookers do 1000° F.

    Tried cooking a t-bone last night soon as I unboxed my grill - despite not knowing how to use the grill's features I got it done and the steak was cooked perfectly and the taste was awesome, couldn't bellieve how quickly it cooked and on both sides. I'm in LOVE.

    Finally! Thank you SO much for this demo/review~ exactly what we've been looking for, which seems to be hard to find someone cooking their steaks beyond Rare/Med.Rare. Our main concern is whether or not this machine gives a good crisp & browning to the fat portion of the meat, which you clearly demonstrate & show here. Appreciate your time & effort, as we are shopping for a new grill/air fryer & this one has been at the top of the research list. We also prefer our beef cooked to MediumWell~ thanks again =)

      Darnell, I was just going based on what you said (minute mark 3:35) in your video. From the angle on the video, it definitely looked like one of the two smaller ones. I know that it didn't matter that much to you, which is cool, I was simply suggesting it for some of your viewers that definitely want to make sure that all of their steaks are at minimum a particular temperature. I do apologize, I wasn't trying to be disrespectful, just throwing out a suggestion due to an observation. I have always looked forward and enjoyed your thoughtful and informative cooking videos, which is why I am a subscriber to your channel.

    Pass that Medium steak over here. I wonder how it would do against chicken or salmon. Maybe grilled veggies like zuccini, or diced seasoned potatoes. I really want one of these, I feel like it would be a good way to start cutting less fat and calories out. Nothing beats a cast iron or grilled steak, but im down for calorie cutting on a air grill and fryer. Cheers mate!
