Hi i have already load dimensions sources and destinations but i didnt load fact table , to load fact table should i load again dimensions to merge and join or use those that i already load ?

Hi Sudhanshu, you can create clustered index on id column after this data flow task. Clustered index will sort the data based on Id column. however it really does not matter which row is in which order in output table as we can fetch the data in any order while trying to pull it. For example while pulling the data we can sort it based on id in ascending or descending order. Thanks.

Can it be possible to create this process inside of a Foreach Loop Container, which include the last step to archive (move) files to another folder?
Yes of course this can be done inside the foreach loop container as well. Just use the foreach loop container with file enumerator and then use the data flow task with merge join transformation and later use file system task to move the processed file to archive folder.
However performance wise, I would suggest you not to use this method. As there is Sort transformation involved here thus this will be very slow. This is used for very small data set. What I will suggest is that insert the data from flat file into a sql staging table and using the sql query do the join or use the lookup transformation for incremental load.

mergre join concept does not join the tables on related column ? like joins in sql

I need to join 4 different tables but with merge join I can only do 3 of them. Is there a way to join the last one?
Sorry I have used merge join just to join 2 sources together, one was csv file another one was sql server table. If you are able to join only 3 of them. Can you try to combine the data for some of the tables together may be by using the Union All transformation and then try the Merge Join again on small number of sources ?
Hi bro, i did exactly what u explained in the video but im getting error as(Both inputs of the transformation must contain atleast one sorted column, and those columns must have same metadata)wt should ido?
Did you used the Sort transformation and configured it as shown in the video ? And whatever column you checked in the Sort transformation make sure that the data type of that column should be same from both inputs. If the data type is not same then use the data conversion transformation before Sort and use that new column and try again.

You can actually use a lookup instead.
why there is no Right outer join in this transformation?
Because a Right Outer Join is essentially the same as a Left Outer Join but with the table order reversed. If you want a Right Outer Join, you use the "reverse" button to reset their order combined with the Left Outer Join.
If we want to join based on two columns then how to it
You need to kind of drag and drop a field from left to right. For example press first_name on left, then drag and drop it to the right on the first_name as well.

Merge :- It is used to combine datasets more than two. (It performs same as union but sorting is done here)
Merge Join :- It is used to combine only two datasets, not more than two.
And in both we can perform join operations.
Am I correct Sir? Please clarify.
Merge: It is used to merge 2 data sets, but both the data sets must be sorted.
Merge Join: This is used to perform an inner join, left join or full outer join on 2 data sets. And both the data sets must be sorted.

You are absolutely correct, even in the earlier videos I did not used microphone at all. Now I am taking care of this, if you see the recent videos on my channel, I am taking care now that each video should have a good audio.
