After many years of only purchasing Nike Vapors and Superflys (with the occasional leather boot), I went ahead and ordered these with SR4U coupons. I’ve been fascinated by the laceless concept and I really loved the fit and feel of the X Speedflow + when I tried them on in the store. They just didn’t have enough meat to them if that makes sense, so I got vapors instead. Looking forward to trying these and seeing if they fit as well as the Speedflow + but have a weightier feel to them for more physical matches. Hopefully they fit since there’s no adjustability. Also, if you order on SoccerPro with the SR4U coupons you can get them for $180 compared to the $230 full retail price. Pretty dam good discount for a boot that just came out.

Hey SR4U, with it being a WC year, maybe you can do review of shoes released by the brands with National team colors/crests. Like Adidas has released some Samba shoes for Argentina, Mexico. Adidas also released boost version shoes of the Copas in National team colors/crests. I'm sure Nike is doing something? thank you in advance
Hey josh, do adidas AG boots have a higher lip compared to Nike AG boots with the higher lip? Also the adidas sole plate looks a lot more aggressive then the Nike ones. Any thoughts ?
After Puma's comeback with the Utras, it's very nice to see NB catching up to Nike and Adidas as well with this and the new Furons. Now I just need Lotto and Diadora to be competetive again
I just think lotto has been making boots sneakily well. Their leather boots are always fire and have got a niche audience plus their laceless boots are actually good. Diadora their brasil line are some of the most comfortable things there is
I love how NB aren’t copying any brand and doing there own thing , particularly with the Furon but now the Tekela they always offered something different to the rest and this just makes NB’s lineup even more appealing , great to see them on the rise and also great that they offer wide feet versions for people like me 🙏

But when you consider how much they’ve improved the Furon and Tekela, how well the 442 v2 stacks up against the Nike Tiempo, and how most of their offerings a bit cheaper than most anything else? Also they tend to look really sharp. Yeah, NB has the heat🔥
I tried these on and even at the store they felt so much better than the new vapor 15 elites in my size. First game in them, i was SAUCY and scored a top bins banger in them. They are perfect.

I got mine half a size up and the only thing is the insoles are a bit slippery on your sock so i just double insoled it with some extra predator freak insoles i had lying around and they're even more phenomenal now. Double insoling will help with lockdown and tightness if you find a problem with it. In my opinion this is a must have and in the store i was hitting rainbows and shit right out of the box…lmk how you like it
As a goalkeeper I love the idea of the side studs but it's heavily outweighed by the fact that they're laceless. Lockdown is too important when you're trying to make explosive moves laterally. Would love to see the side studs on a laced boot though
looks like a pair of Superfly 4 without laces. That's my fav pair of boot that I'm currently playing with so well done New Balance and is good looking too.

I've quickly been finding myself shifting to laceless boots in a lot of areas, most notably when I'm coaching. I've been almost exclusively in the X Ghosted+ for months while the Copa 19/20+ is has been a great pick for SG and rainy/cold weather in my experience. Adding laces I've been in the speedflow .1, but the time reduction in getting my boots on has become a bit of a lazy/convenience bonus I quite enjoy. I've wanted to try NB for a little while now, but the tekela v3 left so much to be desired and was all around poor. This V4 edition though looks to be just he ticket for me to finally part ways with Adidas as their current lineup is rather subpar all around. Just waiting on a few more colorways to drop, the black looks good, but I would love to get a white pair as well!
The first two generations were pretty good minus the longevity of the boots. Can’t wait for these to be marked down so my peasant ass can cop a pair

Getting in the size you’d want for a sock like feel in a boot like that it seems like a pain to put on especially with a grip sock, cool looking tho
The collar is actually very stretchy, and the boots aren’t too difficult to put on. Easier than most laceless boots in my experience.
