A friend of my daughter said they played this at her old Church well she will be happy because Praise team is playing it b4 we release the kiddos this Sunday
@rockychieng88 thanks for the info, I find playing E F#m A B sounds better for me. In any case, if anyone wants to follow E F#m E/G# A, feel free to do so. In the end, I use the chords which I find sounds good
Great video. I had to see other videos on the percussion cause I couldn't get it right. From what I understand releasing the finger pressure don't actually mute the sound but the muting actually comes from placing the palm on the strings near the bridge.
Hi Jon, I would say doing both actions (releasing finger pressure and placing the palm on the strings) help to make palm muting easier. Releasing finger pressure only helps to mute the strings that your left had are pressing. The open strings will still ring hence placing your right hand palm on the strings will kinda mute all
@@jedimindless Thanks so much for the tips Daniel. Just to clarify for the B chord part in the verse, you unmute the strings after the first down up correct? I just started playing the guitar for half a year or so. Your videos has helped alot as is simple to learn. I get to learn to play alot my favorite church songs.
@rockychieng88 ahh, that's where people can decide for themselves which chords they would want to use. I would not say i'm misleading them because they can always choose from themselves. It would only be misleading if i were to write "these are the correct chords", which I have never said before in any of my videos. Rather, I always mention that "this is the way I play it".
hey Great video... just one question.. still abit confused on the strumming for the intro... how do u hit and do an up down without making a note? am i not suppose to strum some strings? i keep strumming the E string.... Thanks GOd bless
Hi I'm not sure how in the intro how to strum when you switch to B?? you explained it very clearly for the first few chords but not the B part...please help!
There are a few ways you could play the B. The simple way would be just to play the same strumming pattern that you use for E and the A, but twice. Or, you can play a strumming pattern that goes like D, D hit, UDUD hit , DU
@jedimindless well, you mislead people to the wrong chords. my humble suggestion for you is would it be better for you to change your chords for the sake of other beginners out there. Just a suggestion :D

@bunbun13 Hi, for the up down, what I do is to release the pressure from my left hand so that when you do the up down strum, it is muted.
