We were lost once (like you said worshipping the nature, afraid of every natural phenomenon and being swayed from left to right by superstitious belief) but God reached out to the people of Nagaland because He is a good God. Christ is the Lord over Nagaland and that is a blessing we cover ourselves with. We know who our maker is, we know who we belong to, we know we are loved and through faith in Jesus we are saved and forgiven and we are sure of eternal life.
May Jesus grant you greater intellectual capacity to perceive the world beyond the confines of the Bible or Christianity. May you experience the profound emotions of love and care when you extend them to others, as well as the discomfort and pain associated with consuming animals despite having the choice to spare their lives. May you encounter moments of agony, suffering, and power dynamics, allowing you to understand firsthand what it feels like to be subjected to oppressive forces. May you gain wisdom that goes beyond mere accumulation of information, leading you to question rather than blindly accept, and empowering you to seek the truth. @@Stowerslemalu He meant stick to one way; he didn’t mean not to use your mind. Jesus Christ didn’t get enlightened by just believing; he had clarity and knew for sure. Therefore, he tried to teach people that. However, he didn’t have much time, so he told people to believe, especially for people like you. The meaning of belief is something that you don’t know for sure but want to think is true. This is a foolish way to live life. Jesus Christ preached enlightenment, not followers. You would know if you try to become like him instead of just being stupid followers.
@@NiharH84 the historical Jesus as revealed in the Gospels never preached "enlightenment" or any eastern philosophy, or religion. He preached that the kingdom of God was being ushered in, in His person. He preached that through His death forgiveness of sin was possible (Mark 9:31). He preached He was the only way to know God (John 14:6). He preached we must repent and believe the Gospel (Mark 1:15) but to name a few things. It's quite obvious by what you say about Jesus that you have very little idea who He actually is. I humbly suggest reading the Gospel of John. Be a good start for you. Blessings.

I used to follow you but after this this video. I'm very disappointed .most of my Christian friend always criticised about other religions. We should be proud of our ancestors belief instead of putting other belief in us. I'm from Manipur kabui rongmei tribes . We still practice our ancestors belief. We are so proud of our identity. In northeast there are lots tribes but mostly they have lost their ancestors practice. I feel sad when we lost a rich culture.

I will have to disagree with you on that. All religion doesn’t speak the same truth. In this particular testimony this lady mentions something that stands out from any other religious belief and that is “only Jesus (the Son of God) laid down His life to save humanity from their sin for those who believe in Him alone and receive Him as their Lord” and there is no other religion apart from Christianity you will see forgiveness of sin and assurance of eternal life.
There are many layers to my perspective and I don’t think I’ll be able to explain it here. But, what you and the lady is saying is true. I was born in Hindu family but now I don’t associate with any religion but read everything from bible to Buddhism.
And yes, the superficial rituals which she is referring to in Hinduism had its significance when the collective psyche was illiterate and unaware but now the world has changed but people are still into those things which is unfortunate.

What about the catholic using the statue of Mother Mary?? This lady has been so much brainwashed by the so called Christian missionaries that she became a blind believer. Every religion teaches us the right path to enlightenment. Being an atheist I’ve studied many religions. Every peoples say that God is one, but because of the so called “religion” we began to create our own God based on our faith. The main thing about religion is to divide people. See the place where Jesus was born in the holy city of Israel Christian are the minorities, that is for real. The only religion I follow is Humanity, and not religion that men had created. Never forget your deep rooted history. You must preserve it at any cost. Those foreign religion are harmful to our indigenous culture as well.
So whats the evidence for atheism? If atheism is true then the universe caused itself, and we are the products of blind naturalistic processes that emerged from the primordial soup. Which means humanity is just a cosmic accident. That also means things like "enlightenment" is just your subjective opinion as truth and morality are both subjective if atheism is true. I dont have enough faith to be an atheist.
The purpose of sharing personal testimony is encouraging people who are on a similar journey.
There is no disrespect to any other religion. It’s the personal experience one encounters with God that changes their whole perspective on everything so you cannot accuse someone of being brainwashed.
Also when you talk about the people of Nagaland becoming Christians, my grandfather experienced a revival that spread through out Nagaland and hence every tribe became united under the umbrella of Christ. Before this tribes would fight against each other. It’s a privilege that God chose to visit the people of Nagaland. We were lost once (like you said worshipping the nature, afraid of every natural phenomenon and being swayed from left to right by superstitious belief) but God reached out to the people of Nagaland because He is a good God. Christ is the Lord over Nagaland and that is a blessing we cover ourselves with. We know who our maker is, we know who we belong to, we know we are loved and through faith in Jesus we are saved and forgiven and we are sure of eternal life.

I used to follow you but after this this video. I'm very disappointed .most of my Christian friend always criticised about other religions. We should be proud of our ancestors belief instead of putting other belief in us. I'm from Manipur kabui rongmei tribes . We still practice our ancestors belief. We are so proud of our identity. In northeast there are lots tribes but mostly they have lost their ancestors practice. I feel sad when we lost a rich culture.

In this particular testimony this lady mentions something that stands out from any other religious belief and that is “only Jesus (the Son of God) laid down His life to save humanity from their sin for those who believe in Him alone and receive Him as their Lord” and there is no other religion apart from Christianity you will see forgiveness of sin and assurance of eternal life.
There are many layers to my perspective and I don’t think I’ll be able to explain it here.
But, what you and the lady is saying is true.
I was born in Hindu family but now I don’t associate with any religion but read everything from bible to Buddhism.
And yes, the superficial rituals which she is referring to in Hinduism had its significance when the collective psyche was illiterate and unaware but now the world has changed but people are still into those things which is unfortunate.
