Very nice Daron....informative and helpful. In my opinion the best Alfa site out there. One suggestion if I may, because of the background shop noise, possibly a mike may help overcome that said noise. lol
So the thing with the newer Diffs not being as good as the original one - i heard this the first time - what is the problem with them? I am asking because i've been considering upgrading to the one from Alfaholics.
+alessandro meyer Very good question! The hardness of the original gears has never been replicated in the aftermarket world. The comment is specifically meant to the ring and pinion gears. I have a Alfaholics LSD with a factory 10/43 ring and pinion in my car. The point should be clear that there is little to nothing wrong with most aftermarket diff parts. However if you can secure a factory original ring and pinion you won't be wrong. The Alfa factory gears for the transmission and differential are second to none. Ask any machinist that has handled them. The product was extremely well built.
Funny...I live in Prague...and I've tried to contact them (Carb.deals)with zero response...I've seen their site and products and it looks great but they just dont respond to any message Ive sent and they dont have a telephone contact.
Good video, keep it up and love the Alfa's!

I would've given up on my Alfa if it wasn't for clips like this. Thanks for taking the time to make them.
So I noticed you did not mention looking at the clutch pack for the LSD. Is that because you had ascertained they were good beforehand?
Glad to see you won't tackle things you are not sure of. As a local Alfa specialist said to me, not everyone can set up an Alfa diff.
cancha get new locking straps or make some ?
