- In this #asmr video, we're going back to the old school of ASMR! I always saw the early 2010's as the "Golden Age" of ASMR content and I remember when I watched my first ASMR video in 2013 and fell in love with it! My goal in this video is to try my best to recreate or rekindle that "spark" moment you too might have felt when you discovered ASMR for the first time. I hope you enjoy this video!

This old school ASMR hit the spot in a way I haven't felt in a long time. I don't know what my first ASMR video was, but I do know that the first ASMRtist I follwed was Denis ASMR. I fell out of it after he went on Hiatus, but then he returned out of nowhere and I caught a couple of his videos. I actually found this channel through him after he did one of those "ASMR But I'm [insert ASMRtist Here]" as Jojo. I enjoyed his imitation so much I followed the link in the description to this channel and I never left. Now I don't know how I'd fall asleep at night if I hadn't found this channel. Or get my project done for my college math class final.

The “da” combined with the patting sounds and rhythm reminded me of being a little kid and getting patted by my parents, super personal but this was hella tingly right there.
Yes! Please take me back. I miss the beginning Era of ASMR. It felt like a hidden gem. A small community of people who really didn't know what they were doing, they just knew it felt nice and relaxing. The low quality pictures, the soft whispers, cozy rp, heatherfeather, whispercrystal, Canadianwhispers, softlygaloshis, onelilium, etc. Everything was new and innovative.

i remember when i first watched asmr, it was very obscure, and I remember it was that channels first time doing asmr, she explained it quite well and I was like "this is silly, there's no way this is gonna make me sleepy" and proceeded to knock out the moment she started making sounds lol
Mic brushing was the first ever trigger to give me tingles and honestly yours brought back that feeling!!! Especially with those hand movements… chef‘s kiss!

I don't know what it is about this video specifically, but the crispness (?) of the mic and the subtle sharpness of the mouth sounds is just perfect, whatever setting this is on is so detailed and tingly

I really love old style asmr but the main thing I really love about it is the old quality. This video was one of the first video's in recent year's that actually gave me tingles.

I particularly enjoy the casualness of older asmr, ambient noises in the background, a person's breathing, talking about mundane/personal topics. I won't list my gripes with modern asmr but I hate the overall sterilisation of the content over the years.

I started watching asmr a while ago and I go through my spurts of watching you here and there. I really love the rode mics :3 hmmm I think I was here before you blew up kinda. Or at least until you started going crazy. You got a crazy expensive yugioh card and then that crazy mic. A lot was going on and I think in that commotion. The roots were lost. It’s fine and completely understandable for you to want to go back to the basics. As almost every master has said, if you master the basics. You’ve mastered the craft.
