What about Pocket Sync? I tried that and so far I am getting this error even after following your steps. Maybe I did something wrong in the common folder when i open up the games they arent in there but they are in the core game folders
If anyone stretches 4:3 to 16:9 I am most certainly judging them.

Just wondering, if I add my Pocket in the Neo-Geo cart slot, can I access openFPGA cores on the Neo-Geo?
no but if you do it just right in 9 months a new Analogue Pocket will exist

That’s what I thought, but select just pauses the game. Dock is updated to the newest 2.0 firmware. I’m not using USB adapter ver. 2. The NeoGeo Controller is contested directly through Bluetooth. Is there another setting I need to change? Thank you

Unfortunately you can never have the beautifull crt pixel, noone effect can replicate it.
You can get V close on some platforms

I didn’t see you cover this in your video, but for anyone wondering how to turn ‘blood’ on in Metal Slug (if that’s your thing), this is how you do it:
1) In game, press START+SELECT. This brings up the ‘In Game Menu’
2) Scroll down to ‘Soft Reboot System’ and hit A. This will take you to the Unibios Menu. Hold B+D+C together when this is displayed. If you miss it, the game will boot and you will have to start over.
3) On the new menu, scroll down to ‘setting up the soft dip’ and hit A to select.
4) Scroll down to ‘Slot1 Metal Slug’ and hit A to select.
5) Scroll down to ‘Blood’ can hit A to toggle ON.
6) Exit all the way out by hitting C twice and then scrolling down to EXIT and hit A.

This is the whole reason I was watching this video. You're a lifesaver.
If you, like me, tried this and didn't see the "Setting up the Soft DIP" option, it means you are in AES mode, not MVS (Arcade) mode. Hit the Analogue button, go to Core Options, scroll down to MVS/AES and fill the circle with white (enable it) if it is black. Scroll up to Reset Core, and start the directions above over at the "hold B+D+C" part. Also, default bindings can be viewed in Controls, but they are A = right, B = bottom, C = top, D = left (buttons).
It's a shame you cant apply cores to games for automatic use rather than manually switching out on a case by case basis.
Metal Slug 6 hack (from darksoft) don't work in the analog pocket ! anybody have solution ? and i'm looking for Xenocrisis :)
You should def buy Xenocrisis. They worked on that a long time. I haven’t tested 6
Just a note that the Overdrive Core does not work for some games in my experience. I had issues with Money Puzzle Exchanger and Overtop, and switching to the regular core fixed it.
Yes it’s really just useful for a select few games

Thank you so much for this-my only question is: what’s the difference between setting the UniBios to AES or MVS mode, selecting “AES/MVS” in the Core Settings menu, and selecting a ROM that says “AES” in the title or not? Kinda confused on how those settings work or don’t work
Just use the Unibios and the standard rom. That’s the best move

@@VideoGameEsoterica yes, thanks for replying. I added the games to the common folder. However, I noticed the roms folder names are different than the once showing in the pocket list e.i. Metal slug is shown on the list but the name of the folder rom is mslug. Hope that makes sense

I'm unable to access the UNI-BIOS to select the region and mode. When I reset the core and press ABCD the memory card manager comes up. The issue I was having before with the select button not adding tokens was due to the mode being console not arcade. Somehow the mode switched to arcade and I didn't do anything. Currently region is set for Europe, not a big deal, but I'll the ability to select the region and mode. Thank you,

Is there a way to get into the game bios menu? like where you set the difficulty level and turn blood on and off for metal slug for example.

For the 8BitDo NeoGeo controller, is the dongle the controller comes with the correct one? Or do we need to buy the USB2 adapter that’s sold separately?
You need the sold separately one
I updated the firmware on both the controller and the dongle that came with it, and now it works with the Dock on the latest Pocket/Dock firmware.
