    Pliers are the most underrated Victorinox tool, there just isn't anything quite like them. it's size to power ratio is unique, they are surprisingly tough yet they can do incredibly delicate work. Gram for gram they beat anything else out there. I don't feel the need to carry my Leatherman anymore. Also the fit and finish on these things make them a real joy to use

    The main reason this is a "hard" test? -- your nice little vice is mounted to a bench that's less stable than my wife's ironing board! (I hope your thumb healed okay . . . and thanks for your thorough test!)
    By the way, the newest version of the Workchamp has a liner lock on the main blade and the bottle opener, and the awl is without a sewing "eye".

    Got this tool for 10 years now - absolutely love it! The most useful and versatile tool that you can carry. I take it everywhere with me, and at home I keep it on the shelf in the living room - we use it for so many different everyday tasks. Each of the tools is great. And after so many years it is still in perfect condition!

    Some operations (using saw, file, wire stripper) could definitely be performed better. Use your finger as a guide, start using the saw at low angle, start filing slightly inclined to a side to to allow for one edge to bite and start the kerf. Wire stripper is used differently, go and find how. Hint: it started opened 90 degrees.

    I have one of these. I like it more than my Wave. Very useful tools, all of them, even the mini pliers (wich I like very much). Oh, those vic scissors ♥️. Saudações do Brasil! Ainda vou tentar aprender o seu lindo idioma. A geração do meu avô aprendia o francês na escola, e os brasileiros miravam no seu país como referência cultural, especialmente intelectual. Mas então veio a Ditadura nos anos 60, que aboliu qualquer vestígio francófono dos currículos escolares.

      A file to file a metal part, after a cut for example or for an adjustment. But it is true that a file is rarely used on a multi-tool. The Hercules model is an alternative.

    Dear Diezelle57, can you, please, compare a new stainless steel version of Victorinox metal file, one that is on Workcham, and the old version of metal file, made from carbon steel, which can be found on the pre 2005 version of Victorinox multitools? Which one is better? A new one is more coarse, but people say that the old one, which is thinner cuts better....

    • @diezelle57
      @diezelle57  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Amigo gostei do seu vídeo e quero saber de você. Vale o investimento? O canivete é bom mesmo? Oque vc acha, quero comprar mais to em dúvida porque não achei mais nenhum vídeo falando dele, então resolvi perguntar pra você que tem um e ja usa faz tempo. O seu ainda está bom seu algum problema?

      O Workchamp é de excelente qualidade, é a Victorinox, não terá problemas. Está muito bem equipado, basta pensar que é um pouco pesado e volumoso.
      Le Workchamp est d'excellente qualité, c'est du Victorinox, vous n'aurez aucun problème. Il est très bien outillé, il faut juste penser qu'il est un peu lourd et volumineux.

      Em relação à qualidade, pode comprar qualquer Victorinox sem pensar duas vezes, pois é um produto de excelente qualidade. Os suíços têm mais de cem anos de experiência no ramo. Infelizmente, porém, no Brasil, os canivetes Victorinox estão entre os mais caros do mundo. É possível constatar isso comparando o preço de qualquer modelo em várias partes do mundo (no próprio site da marca, faça a conversão para a sua moeda). Eles são quase tão caros na China, mas ainda custam menos que aqui. Veja que em dois países da zona do euro, Alemanha e França, há diferença de preço (mais caro na França), mas nada comparado com o Brasil. Aqui é muito mais caro pois os impostos são altíssimos!! Nesse caso, você terá que desembolsar uma quantia alta para comprar um Workchamp e no final das contas, ficará com receio de usá-lo para não estragar o produto tão caro. Por este motivo, não se vê muita gente com Victorinox. O investimento é alto. Viva o Brasil

      @@jhonymarson7123 Entendo perfeitamente. Meu primeiro Victorinox (Hiker) comprei em 1995, com 14 anos. Não lembro quanto paguei. Em 1997, com 16 anos, comprei um kit SOS Swisschamp por R$197 reais em B. Camboriú, SC. Por muitos anos tive apenas uns três ou quatro, pois são caríssimos no Brasil. Hoje em dia viajo muito ao exterior a trabalho e sempre compro três ou quatro de uma só vez. Este ano na Suíça trouxe dois Spartan PS (um preto, um branco), a CHF 69.00 cada. Já está caro lá, pois o preço de um Spartan comum custa $19 nos EUA. Porém, o Spartan PS tem lâmina preta e é caro mesmo. No entanto, este mesmo modelo é vendido a R$462 pela Victorinox no Brasil. Impossível o camarada ter coragem de usá-lo, caso o compre. Cara, estou escrevendo essa mensagem e entrei no site da Victorinox. O Spartan PS BRANCO caiu para R$199 e o preto R$249!! O preço era mesmo R$462. Vontade de comprar mais um 😂
