How can these games be over 6 years old already?? I was still in school (8th grade) when these games released, and I still vividly remember playing through pokemon Y (Yveltal hands down is my fav gen 6 legendary) when it was brand new... during its glory days, gen 6 was arguably one of the best generations of pokemon ever imo (including ORAS).
I remember being blown away by that Xerneas cutscene.

Xerneas is my favorite. It’s just has a beautiful presence. The game came out and saw it for the first time. It caught my eye. A lot of people I know was going with yvetal and I thought xerneas was being left out so I definitely all in on it
my first pokemon game was pokemon go but it was the only reason i started saving my money to buy a 3DS with Omega Ruby and Pokemon Y. Mostly because i love the way how i can see the hard work of the game developers to make such a wonderful game. And it really is wonderful seeing these games. Also my favorite from this gen is Yveltal and Zygarde. From Omega Ruby Alpha Sapphire are the weather trio and the eon duo. Their just plain awesome

This game came out when I was in the 7th grade, but it sure doesn’t feel like it. I’m in college now, and I can still remember many things about my first Pokémon game.

One has got to ask though, where did the arena for Xerneas come from? Let alone Yeveltal?
Unsure but I wish they were reused for their Fairy Aura and Dark Aura abilities in future games. That would've been a visual treat!

Pretty sure those are the failry aura and dark aura's effects but eh could just be for the exaggeration like lysandre's arena being a literal fiery pit because this man has doomsday machine in his hand and will get xerneas/yveltal and suck their energy away to reach his ambitions and also because flare
there's no way that these games are a decade old, i remember thinking mega evolution was cool as hell back then

@@albond in terms of stats yes, in the main area of swsh there are no solarizers or lunarizers but there is a big possibility it could be in crown tundra
If Mewtwo wasn't available in this game, I would pick Xerneas. It was my second choice.

Ah yes. To think you only find 1 bird of the 3 and it differs based on who your first partner was. Grass is ice bird, fire is thunder bird, and water is fire bird. And you have to run into it in the wild 11 times before you can battle it for real.

You only find 1 bird in your game. What you find depends on who was your first partner. Grass: frost bird. Fire: lightning bird. Water, fire bird. And you have to encounter it in the wild 11 times before you can even attempt to catch it since it flees immediately in the wild. After 11 run ins, it goes to the Sea Spirit’s Den and stays there.
How in hell can you catch it with a pokeball
