Wow, 5 hour upload! You really do a great job and now that I've tried it I really appreciate how much time and energy goes into these. We have a "strong track" on order as we are redoing all our rig and chain plates. I think the "strong track" will be the best bang for the buck, with any luck. lol
Hi Drake, I watched all the videos, great stuff. I also came very close to bending my "anti fowl" pole during my first haulout but luckly caught it before any damage was done. I now have marks on the toe rail now to show the lift points. Must have been a much better trip from there to Florida. A working head is a nice thing! Cheers and great work. JC
Hi jconrad215, it was a great shakedown voyage adventure! A seacock started leaking badly, both heads broke and were unoperable, we had an engine failure at sea, responded to an EPIRB, got boarded by armed customs and border protection agents at 3am, and much more.. Hope you enjoy the rest of the episodes. Happy sailing, Drake
@svbluehighway Thanks! :) Sometimes it takes me as long as 5 hours to upload a video. Unfortunately I had to upload this movie 3 times! - Each time I thought it was the final version and then found more stuff to edit - argghhh!! We're thrilled that people are enjoying our cruising life videos and really appreciate the comments and subscriptions. Please stay tuned as we're currently making some really exciting and informative episodes and will be posting every Thursday. HappySailing!
@cardp17 and tomperanteau - Many thanks! We really appreciate the feedback and are thrilled to be working on many great episodes that will be coming up soon! Happy sailing, Drake
Thanks jconrad215, "Two heads are better than one... or none" :) Glad you enjoyed the series! You might also like our other sailing voyage series - "Sailing Fiona from Ireland to Portugal" and "Sailing Bella Luna from Georgia to Tortola" Cheers and Happy sailing, Drake
You do such a great job at these vids! How long did it take to upload a 14min+ video. We did one 10 minute vid and it took AN HOUR to upload. We used a Verizon cell connection via a laptop plug in.
