I worked in pest control for a short while and you will need to put out poison bait to kill the mice. Wherever pets and other animals could get to the bait, they need to be in a bait station, which is a container that only has enough room for the mice to eat the bait. Once the bait is eaten, the mice should try to go outside looking for water, as thirst is a natural reaction to the poison. So, be sure you have no access to water inside the house. You'll definitely want to have one bait station along each outside wall. Set the station so the doors of the stations are not blocked by the wall. You can drop the poison blocks under the sink area, behind the toilet, in the corner of the wall behind the couch, behind the refrigerator, in the attic, (if there is access) and obvious places where they leave a trail of their presence.
Your house is old, but it's probably worth saving. You don't need to fix the entire roof, but you do need to patch any holes, to prevent water getting in. Unfortunately, it's near the electric power line and you should let a repairman fix it.
The tiles can loosen because of the foundation shifting. The foundation is shifting because it rains there a lot and the rainwater doesn't drain away correctly. So, the first thing you want to do is dig a drainage trench that sends the water away. This will require a lot of effort by hand or much less effort if done by a professional with tools and machinery. Also, gutters around the outside edge of the roof will collect the rain that runs down the roof, which can be routed through duct pipes away from the house. Some people run this water into 55 gallon barrels, so they can use it to water their gardens with it.
Your list of things to do: 1) plant trees, 2) hire a contractor to repair the hole / crack / separation in the roof, 3) set out poison baits inside and bait stations outside the house, 4) get an estimate on how to create water drainage away from the house, 5) get a second opinion on the foundation and find out exactly why the house is sinking. You don't want to pay for foundation work, if alls you need is water drainage. 6) look into installing rain gutters around the outside bottom edge of the roof, that also pipes rain water away from the house.

She obviously is going to use the gravel for the foundation. Reason for the mice invasion can be seen here 11:47. A gap for air flow. Last autumn I gave an advice to close it using steel mesh. Rodent mesh. Another enterence point is the roof.

Vita, I love your never give up attitude. I suggest that you buy an 18 inch hatchet.. not an axe, but a hatchet to cut your wood instead of breaking it into small pieces. You will need a larger log to chop your smaller branches so your hatchet won’t get dull from chopping on the ground. Look up on TH-cam the safety precautions of using a hatchet.

Sounds to me like you need a 5-gallon bucket trap with water in it they can get in but they can't get out and they drowned in the water

Last fall I was infested with mice and rats. I used "Flatline soft bait" rat poison and got rid of them all in a month. I bought the 4 pound bags and put out about eight packets a day until the horrible creatures were all gone. Ive tried other poisons that they wouldn`t eat. They loved the Flatline soft bait.
If you are going to stay in that house any at all you are going to have to have someone deliver you a couple truck loads of split firewood and keep it covered from rain and snow. Also you need kindling wood to start the fire with.

Here in the US, we have an excellent product for dealing with mice. It is a piece of material about 20cm x 20cm that is covered with a very sticky substance. It's not very expensive so you can buy a lot of them and put them on the floor, on kitchen counters, etc, wherever the mice appear. Mice get stuck to them and that's the end. They work REALLY well, so I hope they are available in Ukraine.

In New Zealand and Australia (and likely many other places) we have what are known as Gum Trees or Eucalyptus, they generally grow really fast and are excellent for firewood, I planted many 17 years ago so now have all the firewood I need for some years yet. Admittedly it does not get as cold in the part of NZ I live in as Ukraine but full credit to you for planting.

You are doing just great, it take time. You can use any fish, you dig the hole put in the fish cover with soil then hold the tree in the hole, then add more soil to hold the tree in place, this will make the tree grow very strong and healthy. If you dig at least 1-2ft that should be deep enough. This property has so much work maybe one day you can invite a few of your youtube followers to visit Ukraine and help you get everything done to make your village home perfect. I battle rats here. They come from the woods and live under the house. The sonic repellent gizmos don't work for me but I found electric zapper traps really work. They are electrocuted and dead in a second. I'm sorry you have to battle mice too on top of everything else. But I'm a woman with a tiny farm and if I can do it, you can do it too. You're very determined, strong and brilliant. Don't underestimate yourself.
