Not only the best under 30yo ballerina in the entire world and the future world's assoluta, not only an incredibly beautiful woman but also such a humble, quiet and nice lady, Brava La Stepanova, this woman was the gem that would've assured the Mariinsky a superstar after Her Majesty Lopatkina and their highness Novikova, Osmolkina and Pavlenko retire but now only bullshit seems to be promoted at the Mariinsky and the Bolshoi has assured itself to have the future world's best on it's stage, after so many years finally a ballerina with the fire of Plitseskaya has set foot on the Bolshoi!

Да, "видели" ее в Мариинском, ведущей, видели. Поэтому и держал и.о. ее годами в глухой корде, пока накачивали Скорик. Но и.о. отлично понимал, что Степанова из другой планеты. Был бы у нее спонсор, стоял бы перед ней на коленях.

She appears so sad, and almost beaeten up (figuratevly) for some reason, which is sad.
She has been subjected to constant bullying and smearing by jealous "fans" of other ballerinas. This is why she appears so sad.

I have noticed that very talented dancers (especially Russian) have enemies on the Internet questioning their talent, physical appearance, etc. Do you mean them? Or harassing fans who bully her in real life?
I mean them. This includes also hired trolls, who smear and enter any discussion to spread lies. In Russia, unfortunately, this is accepted as “normal”. The infamous Moscow internet ballet forum, cesspool of every kind of iniquity, is run by corrupt moderators who have been for years providing a “roof” (protection) for some dancers, and encouraging smearing others. Yulia was targeted from day one. Such places are run by mafias. Only a naïve would mistake such a place for a place where people who love ballet meet to share and celebrate their common love of ballet. Even a naïve person, if one has any morality, would soon be leaving.
What was the point of this besides to not see her dance on a ballet channel and waste everyone’s time
