Great video. I like the interactive feel of the game master as another player. The game is sort of Heroquest-ish but slightly more involved.
I'm not sure I like the idea of paying for one use boons. But maybe it's a balance mechanic.
The classic dungeon feel of the game is great. I like that you can get players to the table quickly and have a great time.
I appreciate the angle of the camera, right into the action. The minis are painted very well.
Great banter as well. Looking forward to the next video!

    Another good game. 👏
As the heroes know the trap locations I’m thinking of maybe a house-rule to disarm a trap:
Cost 1 Action, hero must be adjacent to trap tile. Roll 1D6:
1-2 = Alarm, place a wandering monster and end hero’s turn. Trap stays in place.
3-4 = Identify, turn over trap token to reveal if active trap, it will still trigger if a hero moves through trap squares. Additional attempts to disarm this trap will succeed on 3+.
5-6 = Disarm, turn over trap tile, it will not activate now.

Interesting idea about doing a disarm action, I really like that this game lends itself to house rules. You could play it as is no problem, or really delve into making it into the dungeon crawler you want!

Maybe easier for the Rogue (or the Dwarf ranger?) to disarm.

Hey thanks for watching, we’re really enjoying this so we’re all happy to keep on filming and recording the entire campaign.
The third episode is up tomorrow, then it’ll be January before you’ll be seeing any more DSO due to scheduling!
Of course, Severeg Ravenbolt gets an addition to the party purely by having a cool name! 😅

Hi guys! Loving the videos... am painting up my DSO undead as I watch... excellent stuff!
One thing though... your armoured zombies - that armour looks more Basilean than Elvish, and i'm pretty sure the hegemony doesn't include any elves... that is, unless, Dendariel is a thief??? 😳
Keep up the good work - looking forward to see how you progress! :)

Hey there! Thanks for checking the video out!
I have zero idea on the lore of Dungeon Saga so am pretty much making things up as I go along. Basiliean is a nation of humans?
The only thing that Dendariel stole was my heart 😅

@@DieRollin yeah - the Hegemony of Basilea is a faction in Kings of War - very religious, to the extent they use angelic Elohim as units in their forces!
Quite a cool faction to be honest - the Elohim known as the Mother of Phoenixes has flaming wings!
