Bosoir Racers....
Last minute entry to the Crewe Winter GP round 2 saw me packing up early on Sunday morning and heading south on the M6 to Race at one of the Largest indoor circuits in the UK...now would our Tiny Minis look lost on this track ?? would there be time to make a brew while the cars travelled down the straight???? Would i be able to "Sneak" my Brushless mini past Scrutineering???

Lovely pair of races! Larger track means less tight racing with only 5 cars, but still exciting watching you "experiment" with lines .. you cut some nice ones a few times, just need to get that up to be more consistent (look at me talking, I need to listen to my own words LOL).
That start for the second looked like your tires had too much sauce still on them, or found a small slippery spot on the track. Nice job reeling in the other car ... well, staying off the wall so you could catch up to his SNAFU's anyway. I'm also of the type of racer to play it safe rather than taking chances as my own crash times cost me more than the savings on the tight corners at this point. We all get there eventually, reach that plateau of racing skill level for a bit till we pass that hump and can get a little more consistent, crash less, and start looking for sharper lines or a slightly quicker motor.

One more thing, mind if I borrow your "SNAFU" count to add into the corner of my own vids? I've been putting them in as "CRASH" counts when they occur, but I really like your method better.

Yes may well have been sauce I had wiped the tyres but probably not enough.....
Your right the consistency is really important and once that's a a good level then it's about shaving small margins off the racing line to improve lap times..... It's helping now that I seem to have found a good balance on the car set up as well... As now I can work on race craft rather then chasing car setup....

Car looked good, just need to tighten up some of those lines 😜. You can see you had a bit of motor fade or maybe just the battery voltage dropping. Lines definitely improved in the second final

Would be good to see Mini Stox tested with the newly announced Hobbywing Justocks G3S and 21.5t motor and 2s shorty lipo. The new ESC has a 12 step rev control limit so should be able to find something that would give similar speed to a brushed setup but without the drop off and all the other brushed issues
Sound good will have a blood at that for my "out Law Rod" running for the next series at ignition 👍👍👍

Re battery charging , carry a portable charger -battery . Attached to say your belt . Leave it plugged in to your battery until you put the car on the track ! Maximum charge up to the last minute . Genius or what ? 😄
