Just wear the dress Katie!! No matter the occasion, just wear it, it’s gorgeous! My mum was also saving a expensive makeup powder I got her when her old one was barely usable anymore and I asked her why and she said she wanted to wait until she finished the old one. And my response was “what if the shelf you keep the new expensive one falls down and it breaks and you can’t use it anymore?”. Create the occasion, don’t wait for it ❤
I also just quit my day job to pursue my art biz dreams 😱💕 I was doing software engineering and also knew deep down that it wasn’t end game. It depleted my physical and mental health until finally I saved up enough money to leave. Proud of you and everyone else who is putting their dreams and mental health first 🎉 Excited for all of our journeys!

Yes! Congrats on making the leap of faith towards full time artistry and being your own boss. I’ve definitely had similar experiences when I quit my corporate job to pursue the life of a freelance artist and photography.

There’s a HUUGGE book sale in Media this weekend at the library FYI, you’d love it, def worth the drive from the city (or train or trolley ride)
Maybe this is a Mandela effect situation but I distinctly remember you saying, when you took that job, that you were not planning on being in it forever and you didn't see yourself as the "corporate America" type, I just love that you figured it out as fast as you did. You're so young and when you're young that's the best time to chase what you love because you have plenty of time to recover if it doesn't pan out. I'm proud of you for sticking your neck out and taking a chance on YOU, rather than taking a chance on others doing right by you.

I want this so bad! I've wanted to be a full time artist since I was a child. It's the only real dream and future I've ever seen for myself. But after getting kicked out of an abusive home, the literal day I turned 18 (because child support was no longer coming in for me). I've been forced to have a day job, most years two, to stay afloat in America. All on my own. I am now 32, and corporate America is sucking the life and passion right out of me. I've tried multiple times to start a shop, while still working to pay the bills. But by the time I got home, I've just been exhausted down to my bones, and sick to my absolute core. And none of my art comes out right. I have to work so much, just to afford to pay the bills, that I have no energy or time for art... so how is this suppose to be done 😭
I also want to quit my job and start doing what I am passionate about and I have so many signals lately. I don't know how or where should I start but good luck on your journey 🫶 And would you like to make a video about this topic?
