    As someone who is awful with doing makeup eye things. I tried the falscara first. Multiple time. It was a disaster. So I didn’t have high hopes for the lashify system after the falscara fail. The lashify system and video was absolutely amazing. I needed that long video to explain it for me. I now can pop them on in five minutes. They look amazing. Lashify for life

      That makes complete sense!! They have so many tutorials on their page, @lashify definitely offers the most options for education & tips and tricks for making your lashes work for you! I prefer them to Falscara as well, the quality overall is definitely higher. ❤️ Thanks for watching!

      Girl, if you can put on lashify then you can put on falscara. They are put on the same way. Don’t be so pretentious. Just say you like lashify better

      Lilac Street is less than half the price as Lashify, big sale right now 5$ a set. I’m able to use them and make up ISNT my forte…exactly why I learned. I like Lashify also he lashes are expensive and can’t always be reused.

    I have tried the Lashify system five times and the most I can get is two days wear. I’m pretty good with putting them on, but because my lashes are fine and short, that must impact the bonds. For me, it seems very expensive for only that much wear. Since you can’t get them wet - which I expect is true for all of these at home extension systems, I feel it’s hard to keep them clean, without messing up the bonds. You can’t truly reuse them either. They are beautifully light and fall apart if you have to clean much bond off them. I’ve had some fall off that I was able to reuse but I wouldn’t rely on being able to wear them more than once. I’ve reordered lashes at $20 a pop x 2 so go I’ve got $200 invested and I’ve had at most 2 days worth of wear so 10 days and all the time to apply. I had hoped these could last at least 5 days and would save me time every morning but that has not been the case - in fact having to replace a lash that’s fallen off every other day is a pain😔. I truly don’t believe anyone gets 10 days wear. I had extensions for years but over time they damaged my natural lashes. My lashes are back to normal, which is short and fine (I’m blond) I’m using a lash serum to see if I can get them to grow longer and just use mascara on most days. And then maybe get extensions for a vacation or the holidays. I’m going to try the Kiss system to see if I get the same results. I’m not sure, without sustained wearability (time savings) that I would use this on an ongoing basis. I’m good applying strip lashes so I’ll use those when I want the extra flutter.

    I tried Falscara and they lasted 2 full days and were coming off by the 3rd day even after using the overnighter. Also their bond is a pain to remove even with the Falscara remover. I also believe that the remover irritated the skin on my eyes. I think Lashify may be better as far as the formulation of the bond, the sealer and the quality of the lashes. I will glady pay for Lashify because I am looking for a DIY lash kit that will provide long wear of lash extensions. Thank you for this video.

    @lifesabeach8133 ปีที่แล้ว +8

    How do you compare a $145 product with a $19.99 product? It seems that the Lashify product price was reverse engineered, i.e. they decided that if people will pay $175 for salon extensions then the market would bear a $145 home diy kit. You can tell by the extremely posh over the top packaging that you are paying for way more than just the lashes, glue, and application wand. Not disputing that the quality of the lashes are probably better and it's a good product. Just in no way worth $145. I've used the Kiss Falscara products and they work well, do not irritate my eyes. Regarding how you applied them and they look on you... the Lashify side has an advantage in that you appear to be right handed and applying the lashes on the right eye would be logically easier. Lashify looks more natural and Falscara looks more dramatic, that is pure personal preference. I know that when I wear false lashes, it's usually for events where I'm being photographed and dramatic always looks better. I see comments saying they would pay the extra money and look at it as an "investment". Last I checked, investments are things like real estate, art pieces and things you can leave to your children. I'm not sure false eyelashes could ever qualify as an investment. If you're bleeding money, then of course buy whatever you like and spend whatever you want 🙂

    • @allielizabeth_MUA

      I definitely think that Falscara makes a great product as well 💖, and definitely wasn't trying to knock them! Just wanted to try and really show what you get with each different option. ☺️ I think the Lashify system is more than just over the top packaging, their fuse control wand is the best on the market. And they also developed the whole system, so without Lashify, there might not be a Falscara. But there's definitely room in the market for both! I have worn the Falscara lashes multiple times as well! Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment. 🙏🏻

      It’s Lashify lashes. Of course it’s going to get a higher review because of the high-end product. I’ve just started doing my own individual extensions at home. For me the kiss product works. I can’t see paying that much money for something that’s only going to last a few days. And for 100+ dollars, I can actually go to the salon and have them do it. This sounds counterproductive.

    I'm curious if I'd be able to mix & match? For example, if the lashify lashes are more comfortable, but the falscara bond is more affordable, am I able to use them together or will they not work as well? Also the flip, if the lashify bond works better, but the falscara lashes look better, am I able to use those together? How does it affect wear time with mixing?

    • @allielizabeth_MUA
      @allielizabeth_MUA  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I definitely think you could mix and match them with one another! There's nothing specific with the lashes themselves that should make them not hold with the other companies bond. That being said... I haven't tried that so I'm not 100% sure how this would affect the wear time. I will try to experiment with this a little this week and let you know what I find out. 😊

    I tried the falscara lashes and didn’t have a good experience with them. I bit the bullet and tried the Lashify system and I’ve been using them for over a year. For me, it wasn’t the application, it was the bond, I just couldn’t get a good bond that would last more than one application. Falscara’s bond just didn’t hold up for me, with Lashify I’m able to get up to 14 days if I NEED, but prefer to change my look after 5 days (truth be told I like a good eye rub 😂)
    So if your purpose is just an event, then Falscara is great, but if you need longevity, Lashify would be the better option. (I was also recently on a boat in the wind with a client and the Lashify system held up well).

    • @allielizabeth_MUA
      @allielizabeth_MUA  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The lashify lashes feel a bit less lighter, as the band that holds each tiny cluster together is a bit thinner. But they both feel ok on. Neither set feels heavy.

  • @janean3773
    @janean3773 ปีที่แล้ว

    Could you use individual lashes instead of strips? There are millions of lashes to choose from...browns, thinner, etc. The key: under las vs over, right? Worth a try. ❤❤

    • @allielizabeth_MUA
      @allielizabeth_MUA  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes there are so many different kinds of lashes to choose from! I wouldn’t recommend individuals though, as they would be much more difficult to apply correctly underneath. And much trickier to make them look cohesive, but both of these brands make a wide variety of cluster like you see here in this video! I know Lashify has brown lashes and thinner, shorter variations. They also have colored packs if you’re ever in the mood for something super different and fun! 💖

    • @allielizabeth_MUA
      @allielizabeth_MUA  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You never apply them to the skin! You want to apply the bond about a millimeter up on your lashes, making sure to keep it away from your actual eye by just the tiniest bit. The bond will adhere to your natural lash really easily! Once you play with it a little you'll see how they work, they stick almost like magnets once you've put the bond on. ☺️

      I actually am not sponsored by either company. I purchased them both to give my honest opinion after running into several artists on set who were wearing them. It may feel that way b/c I was reviewing the value of what you actually get with each set. I’m a professional artist, so I personally prefer the little upgrades that Lashify has done, and their glue & applicator are better. But the Falscara system is great in a pinch and super affordable. I have been a pro artist for over 15 years, but I am very new to the TH-cam space, so I may not have done a great job with the comparison. Thank you for your feedback, 🙏🏼 I’ll try to be clearer with my breakdowns on brands going forward when I have the time.

    As someone that has not been able to master faux lashes for the life of me and want to because I am sick of wearing mascara that just ends up making my thinner/sparser lashes look worse than wearing nothing at all, which I'm not nuts about either but has become a lesser of two evils for me ...this is my own personal take-away from your great comparison video:
    #1 - First and foremost, I like that Lashify seems to have safer ingredients? Right there that would clinch it for me.
    #2 - Lashify's full-length applicator especially for pressing/bonding the lashes on. Seems to me it would make that process quicker and easier and I can be all thumbs at times so I don't want to go section to section with a shorter applicator like Falscara's has.
    #3 - That it doesn't 'feel' like you're wearing Lashify's. If I can 'feel' the lashes on, I know me, and that'll bug the bleep out of me....maybe not for one night out but if I want to wear them on a more regular basis, yes, the more I can 'feel' them on, the more I would want to take them off asap and probably end up not wearing them at all eventually.
    Now I just have to wrap my head around the cost because my budget is Falscara so Lashify would definitely be an "investment" product for me but I may rationalize that it's worth it? I need to think on that a bit....
    Thank you for the great video! I subbed because of it! Looking forward to watching your others. 💜

      Awww… 🥰 Thank you so much for taking the time out to leave me such amazing feedback! It’s honestly really helpful for me to know what is helpful for you! Yes, Lashify definitely has the safest ingredients on the market in the at home lash extensions game! They’re the originals so they have definitely perfected the system. And the fuse control wand is night and day better and easier to use than the one that come with the Falscara set. And as for the price investment I 100% get that!! But I would say you’re spending the most up front to get started, once you’ve purchased the control kit, you’ll really just need to refill you bond whenever you run out, or order new sizes/sets of gossamers down the road if/when you decide you want to.
      If it helps you, I just checked their website & they are running a deal on their control kit right now where if you enter the code 100CK then the control kit is only $100!! 🙌🏼 I’m not sure how long they’re running the special for, or if it’s just a Labor Day sale type of thing, but figured it would be worth looking into!
      Hope that helps!! Let me know if you decide to try them out, or if you have anymore questions! 💖

    How long do they last on the eyes ? Do you remove them at some point. Only curious as i barely have lashes, so nothing to stick them to 👵🦘🐨

      They should last anywhere from 7-10 days depending on the application. As long as you have a lash there at all, they should be able to bond with them. That's what they're designed to help with ☺️ And you can remove them at any time with either brands remover, but if you wear them for the week, you could end up losing 1 or 2 naturally just from coming lose, or washing your face. If that happens, as long as you grab the lash that comes off you should be able to just pop that one back on. 💖
