I stayed a few nights at Secrets Cap Cana back in July (2024) -- OMG it was nice! Everything was absolute perfection -- room, food, service, people, pools, sand -- dreamy!
Ready to gooooo! Ironically my partner won a free trip to DR from work. Missed it-why u may ask? Step daughter hid my passport. Smh. But now with the VIS option I will be there the end of this month for my first tour.
Dominican Republic is a big catch, people who visits Dominican republic can only stay 1 month , after one month they pay hearty fines, and foreigners who buy the property are in big trouble , because they trapped.
I’m boycotting America during inauguration week… and staying at an all inclusive, I’m not leaving the resort , I’m sitting around drinking , eating and beach watching, solo trip with no one bothering me
Most of the buggy tours are not safe. The seatbelts are homemade, crafted from bed straps with plastic latches. The seats are not adjustable for the driver. There are no lights, brake lights, or indicators, and these buggies drive on public roads. The start/stop switch is located at the back of the vehicle, making it impossible for the driver to switch off the engine in an emergency. The homemade gas tank is mounted on top of the engine or next to a battery. Some even have 110V electric breakers in a 12V system. Accidents and fatalities occur frequently, but the authorities cover them up. No one cares about the safety of national or international tourists. This is just an observation from someone who has lived in Punta Cana for over 35 years and has been involved in the buggy industry for 38 years.
I've been on one of those buggy tours and can confirm this. Those buggies are nothing more than 3 cylinder daihatsu engines mounted on a poorly welded chassis held together by hopes and dreams.....the lower suspention link of our buggy actually broke off during our trip!! But since those buggies are quite slow, we didn't get injured and couldn't stop laughing about it😅
Neither have most of us. I bet you've never seen the Niagara Falls, Yellowstone National Park, Golden Gate Bridge, any of the Rockies, any of the Yukon..
$130 for a mediocre attraction? LOL why would anyone pay that much for so little. This is DR not Bahamas, Aruba, or Turks. Prices are ripping off tourists because they know Americans will spend money foolishly
Those tacos look delicious! I can't wait to visit the DR. 😊
Beautiful scenery!
Buen viaje

Damn she played you
I'm heading to a resort in Bavaro soon and was wondering how can I get to downtown Punta cana, either by bus or taxi. Thank you. Great video.
Hi, I could help you with that, please contact me.
Maybe I’m looking at a map incorrectly, but isn’t Punta Cana on the East coast and not the West coast of the Dominican Republic? 0:30
Costa del este
It’s definitely on the east coast. The map shows Punta Cana on the East.
Wow you missed the under a cave disco
Is Bavaro better or cap Cana for beautiful beaches?
Both are very beautiful. Only the cana cape is much more exclusive.
Cap cana*
Is it good for solo and is resort better since solo
Solo is ok but better with friends unless you do tours

Just go ahead and stay there. America doesn’t want you back.
Punta Cana is on the east coast of the Dominican Republic, not the west.
Yes that was a narration error.

You clearly have never seen the witsundays in Australia?

100 plus per tour per adult seems very trappy...
what tour are you talking about?

exacto, RD es mucho más que esas islitas de 3 m2
