More and more I get my craft things at Dollar General. Love their clearance and they have other good sales all year long. I have purchased a lot of craft surfaces for ten cents during clearance. Can't beat that. Enjoy your videos.

I absolutely love shopping at dollar general!! I shop for regular home decor, especially the dollar items, some I diy with, and some I keep as is...I also go crazy when they have their clearance sales-its a great time to stock up on items for diy craft blanks!! Loved your video today...great inspiration!!! I'd love to see more dollar general crafts as I have a ton of their blanks in my stash lol...thank you for sharing!!!

My Dollar General barely has anything for crafting. I do most of my shopping at Dollar Tree. Im a messy bow type girl. I really loved the first projects with the farm animals.

I love DG especially when I get the sales, I love when they have their flowers BOGO because they really have some pretty ones. I got a bunch of those chicken wire/ farm animal frames last year and I got them super cheap, but I went to several stores lol. I like DT too but my store is hit or miss with a lot of stuff.
I was able to get that adorable DG garden stake piggy, he was the only one in the store so I had to take him home & I used him in a craft, it’s so cute & so is yours!! I love the chicken wire box & animal topiary too. Thanks so much my friend♥️

Me too, but I really love Dollar General's sales, especially when they mark down their home decor for next to nothing. Hobby Lobby has great sales as well, anymore if I'm looking for wood blanks or seasonal I check them too and often get a better deal and better quality than DT or DG. 💙
Absolutely love Dollar general! My little town just had 2 new ones built so we have one at the beginning, middle and end 😂 but the old one is my favorite still and ive made friends with the ladies so they always keep me in the loop on the sales!! But i have been searching for those farm animals in the chicken wire frame everywhere i made the mistake of not getting them when I first seen them 😭 but love what you done with them and everything else!! We are very rural here so there is one within 10 miles or so any direction you go. One of our regular DGs got replaced with a Dollar General Market. I don't like it as much as the good old fashion DG. They don't run the same sales as the regular ones, and some items are higher than a regular DG. I'm so glad you liked the diys, I have a huge stash of DG home decor bought on clearance so I plan to do another video using those.

I’m all about DG!!! Especially their clearances!!! I have found those cute chicken wire pieces and scooped em up and around some at another store and scooped them up!!! They are getting a lot of cute stuff AND it’s only $1!!! Not $1.25!!!! Love the animal topiary!! And the box with the frames!!! Definitely gonna try those with mine!

I love Dollar General (especially during clearance sales) but again, mine rarely gets ANYthing anymore. Idk what's going on. It's a hit & miss but I keep checking...lol. I think I prefer the regular traditional bow on that crate, which, btw, is super cool 💖.
We have 3 really close, they basically have the same things but if I dig hard enough I can find something different at each one lol 😆
@CraftsUnLeashedbyRobin I heard that! I spend forever in there checking every table & shelf. People lay stuff everywhere so sometimes I'm the lucky recipient. You know I buy everything because "you never know when I might need it" 🙄🤣. I have done MUCH better this year & I have donated probably over a third of my stash (no worries, I still have WAAAY too much). I was boarding on hoarder. Not really, I just tried to keep so much after moving & just couldn't deal any more.
@carlaluhn6806 exactly you never know when you might need it lol 😆 😂 I've cut way back on my spending, and use what I have. I've even sold some pieces this week thank heavens!
I appreciate the work that went into your topiary, but I thought the use of the fenced panels to create a wired crate was pretty doggone slick. Excellent foresight into what you could do with them. Yes, the other two were quick and seemingly easy (for you, 😂), I wouldn't have thought of something of that caliber. Personally, I liked the buffalo check better. But why not both? One one opposing sides to suit the situation?

I rarely shop at our tiny DG because they don't carry the wonderful things that I see TH-camrs hauling. In addition, the aisles are always so full of boxes that, if they did carry these items, you would never know it.
It's sad that a lot of DGS are that way. I have a friend that works at a local one. Corporate only wants 1 or 2 people working a shift so they expect those 1 or 2 to stock the shelves and run the registers.

I love both Dollar tree and Dollar general however I find oftentimes things are cheaper at Dollar general often only by a quarter. However I follow a TH-camr that reports on Dollar general Penny deals. So often times home decor, picture frames, everything you can imagine eventually goes through a sale cycle 50% off 70% off 90 and then one penny. But because of the popularity of her videos it's very difficult to find things now for a penny. A couple years ago I've gotten very lucky so needless to say I have a hoard of some pricey decor that I plan to repurpose with crafting. Oh and a ton of faux flowers lol
If I can save a quarter that adds up lol I love their clearance sales!! I've gotten decor pieces for as low as 10 cents!!
