A lot of what I have gets used over and over as I build, break down and repeat but I probably do have a lot of parts after so many years of doing this. A lot of the stuff is more older, singlespeed and coaster brake oriented and I'm trying to accumulate a little more multispeed and handbrake parts. Hey if you didn't already see it elsewhere you were a winner in last weeks contest. Mailed your sticker pack this morning. Thanks.
You make good videos.. thank you for not being a bike snob and only using what you have rather than a bunch of fancy stuff. Definitely more realistic and you thoroughly explain what you're doing and I've learned more off of watching your videos than all of the other videos from other channels that I've watched and you inspired me to build my own klunkers.
Thanks so much for watching and the kind comment. It's nice to hear that there's others out there that can relate to the way I do things or learn a little something from it. That's great that you're building your own klunkers. I have another build video coming out this Sunday afternoon.
Dude I always look forward to ending the weekend with a sweet build or edgy ride from your honest no nonsense no OCD malarkey, channel. Good work mate and nice to see so much, forgive the weak pun, upcycling. Ride like the wind bro. Tasty start to AD2023. 🤙🏽
Thank you and thanks for watching. Yes the chainring is a narrow wide. I'm not sure on the chain. If I had to guess probably a 7 speed chain. It's just an old used one I had.
@@Locojoe Nice, thanks very much for the reply! A lot of advice online talks about how narrow wide are only suitable for 9/10/11 speed etc. Something about the internal dimensions of those chains. A 7-speed chain on narrow wide works fine then?
@@Upcyclist I haven't ridden the bike all that much yet. I'm sure it's not ideal but I bet it works well enough for me. Maybe some wear issues doing it? IDK. I'm definitely not the person to be getting advice from. You see the crack in the frame? lol
I can’t believe your parts storage. So envious! Have a great week.

So happy to hear that. I’ve been eyeing the stickers for a while. Thank you again!

Man i always love your creativity the pencil eraser for the vale cap cant get any better than that.
Thanks.
Love those valve caps!
Thanks.
i love these build videos, very relaxing to watch you dig through parts and make something that just works.
Thank you. I appreciate you watching and the kind comment.
I love by the seat of the pants builds. That could easily be me building that bike. Love it. Can't wait for the test ride video.
Thanks Roger. Yeah seat of the pants builds are my favorite. I rarely have anything planned out. Spur of the moment builds a lot of times too.

Thank you very much. I appreciate that. Enjoy your week.
like your tire storage
Thanks. I got the idea from a local bike shop. Being in the attic during the summer probably not good for the tires though.
Nice build, dude! I'm thinking of doing something very similar. Do you mind if I ask about the 1x? Is it a narrow wide? And what chain did you use?

@@Locojoe Well, if it rides, it rides!!
Napoleon “sweet jumps” Dynamite.
It's probably been 50 years since I've done any sweet jumps lol.
It's noisy outside! 😬
Yes it is. I should try and do better with audio but am too lazy. Thanks for watching.
