When You Have 10 Kids So You Decide To Kill One

  • Before we can get to this point which later leads to this, we have to back up to the day before the deadly discovery. On 18th December 2017, officers of the Cleveland Police Department showed up on the doorsteps of 47-year-old Larissa Rodriguez. They were acting on a tip made by Larissa’s boyfriend’s brother.
    See, Larissa is a mother of 10 but our point of focus here is Jordan; her 5-year-old disabled son. The tip was that something had happened to him, something really really bad.

On the other hand, K-selected species are "reproduction marathoners" - they invest more in fewer offspring, providing substantial care for each, suited for stable environments (like elephants). • @paradoxgrl
      @paradoxgrl 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@10base-teaparty97 What speech disorder is called SSI? I've worked as a county crisis worker and mental health delegate for years, and I've personally never heard of this acronym for a speech disorder. Yes. the ssi-4 is the assessment for stuttering. If Jordan was non-verbal, they certainly didn't use this assessment for him. It also makes zero sense for the mother to say "he's not disabled hes just ssi" if she were referencing an assessment used on him as you state. That would be the same as someone saying "oh he doesn't have cancer, he just has MRI (a type of test to find issues.) NO ONE says that. And she WAS collecting SSI on him ...even after his death.

      As to your "NO ONE says that" it's equally nonsensical to say about insurance. Given that the next words out of her mouth are about speech, and that she seems like she would definitely know and be concerned about so blatantly admitting to a crime, I bet she means the assessment. I'm not certain, there's no way to be without reaching into her brain, but really that's my point. Everyone jumping on "oh my god so monstrous" eh, maybe. My youngest son is 20. He was diagnosed at 18 months old with autism and global developmental delay. My husband and I are his protectors, advocates, and supporters. My son was abused both physically and mentally abused by his teachers, and put in a closet for hours to scream. The school system called to report on my husband and I for "attendance issues" because he was scared to go to school... we didn't know at first until the Dept of Education called us. The teachers were reassigned to a different district and never fired or arrested.
    3 years of hell until they finally dropped the case. I can't imagine hurting my special needs son.
    He is the sweetest, most caring, unique, and smart boy you'd ever want to meet.
    Cases like this drive me nuts!!! This boy wanted love, affection, and a stable environment. I will never understand how someone can hurt their child, especially a child with a disability.

    She said Jordan is not really disabled, he just can't talk. That is a major sign of MAJOR abuse. Kids that can't develop speech by the time they are two are either special needs, or they have been so mentally and physically abused that they never learned to speak. No one sits down with them and teaches them to speak.
    I raised a little girl with Down Syndrome and she couldn't speak till she was 6. She couldn't even eat on her own till around 3 years old she had to be force fed liquids which I did. I spent countless hours, days, weeks, months and years teaching her to eat, walk, speak and it changed my life. I loved that little girl more than my own mother. Such a magical, sweet, beautiful little girl.

    23:50 “Jordan, he was one to always eat. ALWAYS. We have pizza. Jordan would take like five or six pieces. And you know it’s surprises me. Because he was (little) like, (and I said) “where do you put it, Jordan?” That’s why I was surprised when he suddenly stopped having an appetite.
    I used to have to sit with him, and say Jordan you gotta at least eat something. At least take a couple of bites. Whenever it was he started losing his appetite, I would try to get him to at least drink something When he started losing his appetite.
    24:46 I don’t, you know, like some behaviours I saw, were uncalled for.
    Sometimes Jordan will wake up. I mean remember how I told you, like with his rocking. {{{ *WHAT does any of THIS have to do with HER burying the tiny, BROKEN body of HER, neglected child in the backyard???* }}}
    (she continues blathering …)
    He’d get up in the middle of the night sometimes sleepwalking & I had to keep an extra eye on him because i caught him going to the bathroom one time, getting toilet water and drinking toilet water.”
    She speaks in disjointed sentences and run-on sentences, *as if she’s trying to remember all the pointers and keywords, but she’s not describing HER very own, five-year-old child compassionately from her heart.*
    WHAT HEART? 💔

    I love the ‘you can ask my kids’ line. None of them would answer that question truthfully. They would be terrified of the repercussions. Only now that I am in my 50s and my gestational carrier is in a nursing home, that people hear of the abuse and REFUSE to believe me. Nope. I refuse to believe anything that she says. Poor baby😢

      I agree with you 100%! Every time I heard her say, " ask my kids" all I thought was, yeah, and if they said something she didn't like,, imagine what she would do to them? She already buried that poor baby in her own back yard who was disabled, imagine the physical and mental abuse she put the other 9 through? If I was able to ask her one question, I would ask how the hell can you bury your own child in your back yard and continue to live in that house as if nothing happened? Was quite obvious both her and the boyfriend were evil but I blame her the most. This child was hers not the boyfriends and it was up to her not only to care for him but protect him. She talked about what he did to her son and it sickened me that she allowed him to do it. I dare anyone to lay a finger on my child! She spent so much time trying to convince these detectives what a great mom she was and how abusive her boyfriend was. Poor pitiful me attitude. Anyone who has that many children with a handful of different men is not only extremely selfish but very irresponsible. I have a few other names for her but I think I'll keep my thoughts to myself. I just pray whoever is caring for her children now will love them and give them everything they could 🙏 Sadly they probably won't be kept together considering there are 9 of them, but I hope the foster parents allow them to remain in touch with each other. I just think its so very important. As a registered nurse, I've seen enough abuse coming through our hospital and I can remember every single one of them and their sweet faces. Most of us medical professionals would take every one of these angels home with us because we don't know what occurs once they leave. We don't know if they are better off with their parents or foster families. Both can be abusive. Its truly heart wrenching to see and it never goes away. Sorry for such a lengthy response 🙏

      Yeah she is 100% full of it. Her story ebs and flows with what she thinks the detectives want to hear and contradicts herself a lot. When they bring up obvious holes in her story she gets choked up and throws out another poorly thought out lie.
      And yes those kids are brainwashed terrified but if they split them up a good detective could get them to crack

      if it makes you feel better, most of those who can't have kids in american also don't adopt, they cba with most of the children available. More often they will turn to surrogacy or something else, so lets not act like these kids ever end up in a better or good situation or were wasted for where they are, that's likely the outcome anyway in america, bad. Kids are there for you to care for your own or glory signal when others don't.

    Watching her try to skirt out of any responsibility triggered something in me and reminded me of my own mother. I know damn well she didn't mean to kill her child, a lot of parents delude themselves into believing that they weren't as bad as their own parents were to them when in reality, they're worse than their parents were to them. It's what happens when narcissists breed narcissists, you end up with an even worse kind of evil.
    I feel so sorry for those kids.
