Classic Marty content, funny, informative and a blast to watch, thanks for the videos, looking forward to seeing what you come up with next. Maybe "tiny hands "come back too!...
Great to see you back in your shop creating all kinds of Hacks/Helps for Kayaks and now Canoe's also. Interesting in hearing your thoughts in comparison of Yaks & Canoe as far as Comfort, weight, stability and ease of paddling on the water...thanks man...love your vids
Hey guys. For those not wanting to drill so many holes, if money is no object (that is you do not have a 3 in pvc pipe handy and need to buy one) in Lowes or Home Depot, go to plumbing section where they sell giant pvc pipe and they actually sell pre-drilled schedule 20. It won't be as fancy and you won't get satisfaction of drilling so many holes but it is an option. I think its schedule 20 drainage pipe or whatever its called. Really cool project.
I like all the ideas you come up with. I have copied a couple of them for me. The best one I like is the square bait container for the Red Kayak you had. Enjoyed it Marty.
Tip for the torch, I use the Coleman propane canisters. The green ones you use for all you camping grills etc. they are usually about half the price of the actual torch gas.
hey Marty, I am working on hacking an intex 200. it only weighs 3 pounds! LOL I put an old 8 pound 12lb thrust Shakespeare on it. It also rows with aluminum oars. I am going to see if it will go downwind with my umbrella. I change the speeds with my foot. It is more stable than I thought sitting on the bottom. But zero room to carry stuff inside so I am working on that. Low weight is fun. I will post a video on it soon. I love your PVC hack. someone told me years ago PVC was urban ivory.
I use my torches so often for so many things. I’m surprised you still have the old head on it instead of the automatic on trigger type. It’s so interesting to watch you do so much old-school
The cup holders are a cool design. My only concern is your mounting method. I would worry that hull flex could create tension between the two screw locations.
Hey Marty I don’t know if you use a Mr. buddy heater in the winter time and those green 1 pound cans are easily refilled off of a 20 pound can for less than a dollar each. And also to refill your propane tank
Can we get an update on you? Who's shop is that? Is that your camper there? Is that where you're living? Do you access to that pool in the background? Just a general update on Zoffinger, the person! 🙂
Hola mi amigo! Hermosa piragua! Espero puedas ver mis videos y eches manos a la obra para hacer un porta cañas como el mío.. Saludos! Desde Resistencia Chaco Argentina.
is this channel sponsored by a Beer Company or is Alcholism being popularised intentionally ??? I wonder how many viewers have to go to an AA meeting after watching another brilliant zoffinger ? Whats with the constant booze ? Tony in Venice
@@dbentley2195 I gave good advice , booze and water sports are informed as DUI and Open intoxicants hence it's bad advice to endorse Beer and pleasure boating. People will get legal problems if they get caught with open booze on ANY boat.
Good to see you back at the shop, Marty. Hope life is treating you well.

Ate you back from the great loop. I have not been on TH-cam because of my exams
Nice cup holders! Glad you drilled all the holes.
Seriously creative with the cup holders. Very cool.
I agree with the Velcro has many great uses. 👍 I use a cheap heat gun a lot to melt expand flatten pvc pipe for many projects

Hull flex with someone in it that weighs about 155 😂. I’m pretty sure Marty knows what he is doing..
@@jaredbradley4095 yep. I'm sure he knows what he is doing. That is why I compliment him.
@@hooahextreme that was a compliment until “my only concern”..
@@jaredbradley4095 yep MY concern...I would worry. I'm 215lbs and carry a bunch of gear on canoe expeditions and have watched the flexing of the hull.
Where do I sign the petition to get Marty sponsored by Bud Light?
Great video as always, great ideas too. The Velcro is a great idea. Keep on keeping on Marty. 73 Earnest K5EWM.
Hope you fared well after that terrible hurricane. Stay barefoot brother!
You should give the old red "poor man's" kayak out for a fishing trip!
Excellent DIY Tips
Always making stuff look so cool
That’s a badass cup holder
Enjoy seeing you back in the shop Marty! Any plans for the big boat?
In tool and die. They have deburring knives for drilled holes you just spin it around in the hole a couple times and its a perfect smooth edge
Brilliant job Marty. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍.
I know what I am adding to my boat one day!
Just went and got my roll of Velcro tape strapping!
Meet the canoe and kayak version of Orange County Choppers! Could be a Discovery Channel show in the making.
Another awesome vid

Marty you also Used that Velcro material to keep the pontoon doors from swinging everywhere
That was really cool!!!👊😁👍

Great ideas. How was the cargo strap attached to the roof liner of your truck?
Cargo straps? Where you get that!? Looks like something I could use the heck out of.
nice work!
Something tells me he likes Bud Light. lol Great Video..
Now you have to make diy ice chest outriggers for it .
Hey Marty, what month was miss swimsuit in the background? Is it yours or your friend? Now I see what inspired you everyday, lol.
marty do a video on your truck set up!
vary well done
Hi Marty: Do you have plans to do more of the Great Loop some day?
don't for get your respirator when sanding LOL and the torch LOL
I wonder if a wire wheel would make the laborious part go easier.
Hola mi amigo! Hermosa piragua! Espero puedas ver mis videos y eches manos a la obra para hacer un porta cañas como el mío.. Saludos! Desde Resistencia Chaco Argentina.
Great work, fitting for the best beer ( BUD-WISER ).
What seat is on the canoe
Why didn't you use thin wall PVC if you were concerned with weight?
He drilled holes in it. Weight removed
Marty why don't you start a kayak charter
is it just me or does Marty sound a bit like Christopher Walken . Marty are you from NY originally?
Hows the fishing?
I’ll be down in July would you like to get together and do some kayak fishing
You have a teardrop?!?!
Also get a kick out of as you brainstorm and kind of take the viewer with you
👋😎👍
Makes me wonder what you could do with a 3d printer.
Cup holder 😂. Can holder is more like it
hi Marty!!!
You need a deburring tool
Scientists recently discovered that this man produces 98% of all micro plastic in the world.

If drilling all those holes in the PVC made it so much lighter, why didn't he drill holes all in the canoe to make it easier to carry?
I am so confused
