Sunan Abi Dawud 2140 Narrated Qays ibn Sa'd: I went to al-Hirah and saw them (the people) prostrating themselves before a satrap of theirs, so I said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has most right to have prostration made before him. When I came to the Prophet (ﷺ), I said: I went to al-Hirah and saw them prostrating themselves before a satrap of theirs, but you have most right, Messenger of Allah, to have (people) prostrating themselves before you. He said: Tell me , if you were to pass my grave, would you prostrate yourself before it? I said: No. He then said: Do not do so. If I were to command anyone to make prostration before another I would command women to prostrate themselves before their husbands, because of the special right over them given to husbands by Allah.

Our Prophet (PBUH) said Shaytaan has lost all hope in misleading us in big things and so he would try and mislead us in small things. So, Shirk has to be one of those big things. And one of those small things has to be creation of divisions among the Ummah and making one group hate other groups, so that perhaps this would lead to punishment of the grave if not the punishment of the Fire of Hell :)

Many dargahs have trees where barelis and Hindus tie threads and strings and make a mannat (wish) and seek blessings . The messenger s.a.w compared this with an absolute shirk as per this Hadeet Abu Waqid al-Laythi reported: When we traveled to Hunayn with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, we passed by a tree which the idolaters called Dhat al-Anwat. They would hang their weapons upon it for blessings. I said, “O Messenger of Allah, make a blessed tree for us, just as they have one.” The Prophet said, “Glory be to Allah! You have said just as the people of Moses said, ‘Make a god for us, just as they have a god’ (7:138). By the One in whose hand is my soul, you will follow the ways of people before you.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2180
What is the relevance of this Hadith to the discussion of whether or not believing that Awliyah can performance Karamat is at a variance with a belief in Allah's Oneness (Tawhid)?
MashaAllah! 😍 So clear and to the point, respect to the Shaykh for clearing issues that unfortunately some are confused about. Calling a mumin, a mushrik isnt a small matter, Allah protect us and allow us to benefit from Shuyukh like these.
The Shaykh’s main focus and work is spreading Islam globally, especially to non-Muslims and those who’ve left Islam. Alhamdulillah, thousands have accepted Islam on his hands. This lecture was not about spreading sectarianism. It focused on affirming the creed of the majority of the Ummah and addressing the misconceptions of a deviated minority who, due to their limited understanding of the deen, label others as mushriks.
We start our duas by saying Bismillah , durood on the prophet, then we ask ALLAH PAAK through the wasila. We do not associate partnership with ALLAH PAAK, which is shirk. Ask and learn before making comment.

This is very important and comments like yours in no way help to answer this question.
Had the quran been studied how it aught to be studied then we would not need no miracles to occur after the prophet peace be upon him, the quran is the biggest miracle of the prophet peace be upon him! If you cannot find Allah subhanatallah after reading and contemplating on the quran then how can someone walking on water make you find Allah subhanatallah? The prophet peace be upon him is the final messenger and the quran is the last MIRACLE! Dividing into sects and leaders who misguide Muslims into sects were foretold by Allah. Since Allah, in His infinite knowledge, knew in advance that some Muslims would commit shirk and that cult leaders would misguide them into divisions, He revealed these warnings through the teachings of His Messenger (peace be upon him). Despite the Quran and Sahih Hadith being very clear and preserved, and Allah’s guidance being made evident through the righteous early generations, this deviation was prophesied. Now, with the perfected Quran and authenticated collections of Sahih Hadith in our possession, Allah has provided all the necessary guidance. However, Allah also knew in advance that, despite having access to the Quran and Sahih Hadith, many would still go astray due to their own choices and the influence of misguided leaders.

The Hour will not happen until some tribes of my community join the polytheists and worship idols…” [Abu Dawud; Tirmidhi]
The Hadith the Shaykh refers to indicates that the majority of the Ummah will remain free from shirk, although there will always be a small group of individuals who fall into it. Our Aqeedah has always been the creed of the majority, rooted in the authentic teachings of Islam as upheld by Ahlus Sunnah Wal Jama'ah. When Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab appeared, he began labeling anyone who disagreed with his narrow interpretations as Mushrik, disregarding the consensus of the Ummah. If you claim that we are Mushrik based on our Aqeedah, then by your logic, you would leave only a handful of people in your fold, isolating yourselves from the overwhelming majority of Muslims. The Aqeedah of the Asha’ira and Maturidis has been the creed of the majority for centuries, encompassing scholars, saints, and laypeople. These groups, firmly rooted in the Sunnah, cannot be accused of shirk because the Prophet ﷺ assured us that his Ummah would not unite upon misguidance. To deny this is to undermine the very foundation of unity and truth within the Ummah. It is crucial to differentiate between sincere adherence to Islamic principles and the divisive ideologies that fragment the Muslim community.
That's about the salafis or people who return to worshipping the idols they used to worship before Islam. Anyway, it's about the time after Imam Mahdi.
Well, why don't you answer it, The Prophet sallallahualaihiwasallam said both... One hadith is in Bukhari (ummah won't commit shirk) And second you qouted from abu dawud... (tribes will commit shirk) The only way you can answer it is by accepting the true understanding of the ahlussunnah. The hadith you quoted mentions SOME 'tribes' from my ummah will return to shirk. Have a guess who that can be???? Who's bringing Laat and Uzza back into the picture and glorifying their once worshipped idols....Saudis maybe? And if you want to use the hadith against us sunnis then remember it says 'some tribes' only. According to wahabis/salafis. Majority of the ummah has been committing shirk.... So still unapplicable upon sunnis... and only applies to 'some tribes' which are slowly coming out in the open as Saudis showed us...

The prophet said this about his grave not the graves of the sahaba. So has have the Wahabi Salafi regime of Najd demolish the sahabas tombs but kept the Prophets tomb standing?
I really wanna understand how the dead or a person who is far away can help. What is the logic behind this? Is there a concept I am missing? Are you saying their souls came out and help or do they send some type of soldeirs? How did they hear the call to begin with? Are the awliyya appointed to do these kind of feats? What is the point behind it anyway? Please someone answer these questions.
Simple answer the dead can’t help or hear you or benefit you The awliya’ of Allah are people of faith and piety who are constantly aware that Allah is watching them in all their affairs, so they adhere to His commands and heed His prohibitions. The degree of wilayah varies according to a person’s faith and fear of Allah. Wilayah is a divinely granted status that begins in the heart with love and veneration of Allah and is reflected in a person’s behavior. Wilayah does not mean that a person can do haram deeds or omit obligatory duties. The best of the ‘awliya’’ of Allah are the messengers and prophets, then the Companions of Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), then those who came after them, then those who came after them. We do not know that the phrase “ashab Allah (friends of Allah)” was given to any of them.

In the same way that you distance yourself from blasphemous statements like “La ilaha Chishti Rasul Allah” found in renowned texts, you must also approach these miraculous stories with skepticism. Good Lecture for Muslims, others can't relate to them selves as they have very limited knowledge and understanding of Quran Sunnah amd iJma al Ummah.
Sunan Abi Dawud 2140
Narrated Qays ibn Sa'd:
I went to al-Hirah and saw them (the people) prostrating themselves before a satrap of theirs, so I said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) has most right to have prostration made before him.

What are muslims doing?
Many dargahs have trees where barelis and Hindus tie threads and strings and make a mannat (wish) and seek blessings .
The messenger s.a.w compared this with an absolute shirk as per this Hadeet
Abu Waqid al-Laythi reported: When we traveled to Hunayn with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, we passed by a tree which the idolaters called Dhat al-Anwat. By the One in whose hand is my soul, you will follow the ways of people before you.”

The karaamaat of the close friends of Allah (awliya’) are true according to the consensus of the imams of Islam and of Ahl as-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa‘ah. That is indicated by the Qur’aan in more than one place and by saheeh hadeeths and well founded reports from the Sahaabah, Taabi‘een and others. It is only denied by innovators such as the Mu‘talizah, Jahamiyyah and those who followed them. But many of those who claim to have performed miracles or to whom people attributed miracles may have been lying or confused.

The Prophet sallallahualaihiwasallam said both...
One hadith is in Bukhari (ummah won't commit shirk)
And second you qouted from abu dawud... (tribes will commit shirk)
The only way you can answer it is by accepting the true understanding of the ahlussunnah.

Simple answer the dead can’t help or hear you or benefit you
The awliya’ of Allah are people of faith and piety who are constantly aware that Allah is watching them in all their affairs, so they adhere to His commands and heed His prohibitions.
