You know that everything you just mentioned you can learn, visit, and experience without living there right? just go for like 2 weeks and you can have a bite size. Also most countries have rich histories, different foods, cool stores and great entertainment, but yea anime is cool

Yes!!! Living in Japan truly is an amazing experience so I’m sure you’ll love it!!
I've been planning to move there in a near 1-2 more years. If you can spare some of your time, what do you like most about Japan that differ from other cultures, and what are some tips that immigrants need know before moving to Japan? Your energy really makes me excited about moving there :)
@@MikoYae My favorite thing about Japan is there’s always something new to experience and it can be in the littlest ways too! Even something as basic as going to a convenience store or grabbing fast food can be fun when you see all the different items they have. As far as tips go, you can get by without knowing much Japanese but it definitely doesn’t hurt to try and learn some words and phrases!! It’ll cause you much less confusion for sure. It may be a bit hard to make friends depending on how you approach it. Japanese people are very kind but they do tend to keep to themselves, at least from what I’ve seen.
I know I’m commenting on a year old video, but I recommend going to the Kiyomizudera temple in Tokyo. On the way up, there is a Studio Ghibli store, and next to it a really cute Sumiko Garashi store!

Well i am going to a Japanese language school here from Monday to Friday and it helps a lot having someone teaching you even if you are not the fastest learner. Right now I would say i can understand more than i am actually able to use and speak myself but i get better everyday.

Judging by the videos that you took of Japan's scenery, I'd say that Japan looks incredible! I'm not sure if I could live there, but it's always been the only place that I want to travel to for fun. I hope that you and Daidus have fun! 😊
Congrats Emily! I would advise you to get earthquake proof things though just in case, so nothing is damaged and falls or something, since Japan does get quite a few earthquakes, that is if you haven't already, but other than that your apartment is quite cute! I'm looking forward to living on my own apartment in the future :'D
I just moved to Korea 2 weeks ago and it’s been really fun and really hectic! So excited we both get to take the next step into moving to a new country around that same time!
I'm slightly surprised that Emily isn't renting a place together with Daidus. It seems more cost efficient to do so. Also what's with the last door next to the office.
Not really especially in tokyo theres allot more Single Apartments than there is pretty much anything else not to mention with Both Daidus and Emi being Content Creators they would probably need 3 Rooms - Bedroom & a Office Area for each of them
@@Roshi_710 true But she kept saying "we" instead of "I" so maybe she and daidus keep all their stuff completely separate and didnt open any of the compartments with his stuff.
Considering how expensive Tokyo apartments are and how big Emirichu's is, I'm convinced someone must've died in that place for it to be affordable. Looking forward to the ghost experiences video!
I've heard stories of people having trouble with dealing with culture shock when moving to Japan. So just stay strong, and know that feeling homesick is a normal. HAVE FUN!!! (also trash is really confusing in Japan, also throwing out big stuff like an office chair requires a reservation... I think... I'm prob repeating stuff, just got to you explaining the 3 trash cans).
As a person who moved to UK, by experience you'll get 1 month or more of the "happy period" The homesick part comes later when you get used to all the stuff and it's starting to get boring, and then stuff happens yada2 You know what just watch "Mr Eats video on living in Japan"
It's worse, since each city has their own rules, she might have to make a reservation to throw out large garbage, or maybe her city has a "large garbage" day once a month.

getting a visa in japan is so hard, but once u get one it is worth the effort, japan is safe, fun and there is a suprising amount to do even when its much smaller than the states. my favorite thing about it is how easily u can get anywear through the train.
