I know. Although, based on what I've read, it's quite often like that in Sintra. Thanks for watching.

Hi! I got a few questions:
    1. If I only want to climb the stairs, but not visit the castle, do I still have to buy ticket for the palace?
    2. How much does it take to climb the stairs and how much does it take to visit the castle?
    Thank you!

      Hi.
      1. For the Pena Palace, you can buy just a gardens ticket if you don’t want to go inside. This is obviously cheaper.
      2. I think the climb from the lower entrance to the palace is about 30 minutes. To visit inside, schedule about 1 hour

Ah ok. Not as sure about the answers to that one. From what I can remember, you can walk a certain amount up the path from the main road up to the castle without paying. In terms of how long it takes, I would say 15-20 minutes from the main road to the castle entrance and about 45-60 minutes for the visit itself.

How many hours can you see this 3 quickly

I think the absolute quickest you could do it is in about 5 hours, but that really is pushing it.
      That accounts for:
      - 30 minutes to get to Pena Palace (if you don't arrive early, it may take a lot longer than that)
      - 30 minutes to get from the main entrance to the palace itself (you can either walk or pay for the bus)
      - 1 hour at Pena Palace
      - 30 minutes to walk or take a bus to the Moorish Castle
      - 1 hour at the Moorish Castle
      - 30 minutes to get a bus or Uber back to the Quinta da Regaleira
      - 1 hour at Quinta da Regaleira
