    I spent right around $2,600 for this massive lot of world and United States coins, and hoped for the best! This unboxing is the largest purchase I've ever made where I simply asked for a bunch of coins - the only thing I knew was coming for certain was a DDR Kennedy Half Dollar and the Peruvian Sol coins. Outside of that, it was a big surprise - and from shipwreck artifacts to rare die clash quarters to better U.S. type to expensive world coins I hadn't previously heard of, you could say that this was a big hit. How do you think I did?

    New to coin collecting here! I would LOVE to get my hands on a cheapish grab bag… just something small with some cool coins to have. Do you happen to sell small grab bags around $30 or so or know any reputable places that do??

    Those military pay certificates are not from world war 1 or world war II, we use them in Vietnam in the 1960s early seventies, there were also used in Korea in the 19670s, we use them in Libya in the 1960s and '70s MPC was used quite a bit by the military in most foreign countries

    Oof, I had to stop this one 18 minutes in and will watch the rest later. The glare coming off those 2x2s and flips gave me a headache quick.

      I’ve been a coin collector for 55 years. I would say he is in the beginner to intermediate range plus on the notes he was looking at 1960s from Vietnam war in there from World War II with space suits on and nuclear submarines.

      Yes. Only the English explorers were important. Reminds me of the "history" text books in 1970's high school. "The British are superior". Page after page after page. What about Leif Erikson in circa 1000 A.D. ?
      They buried that information.

    Where to order a grab bag like this?

  • @afd33
    @afd33 ปีที่แล้ว

    I know I'm late to the party, but those military certificates were from later than WWII. The design of the submarine suggests sometime 60s or later.

    I do not think you received value for monies expended. These are very ordinary coins commonly found in even small collections.
