If I’m not mistaken, ALL P90’s were originally AlNiCo, but these ones are “staple” P90’s, which have AlNiCo pole pieces instead of screws being magnetized by an AlNiCo bar magnet underneath.

When Michael brings out the Guitars with SOUL. He plays the Is appropriate song. You'd never really realize how good a guitar player. Michael is until he steps out of playing Van Halen. He's really good! If you don't believe me just ask me. I really like you, your a guitar player.

Great Guitar, Great Playing....but why re-enforce the "musicians are illiterates" meme. Aluminum*, Nickel, and Cobalt are the metals in AlNiCo, used in the magnetic pick up. Nickel, as in "Nickelback", or the ubiquitous colloquialism for 5 cents. It is not named for the two legendary, mythical inventors of the magnetic material named Al and Nick. So maybe Speedy Gonzales may pronounce it Neee-kle, you should know better. * For all you fereners: Al-you-mini-yum
