I had already decided this would be a day one purchase for me before you even talked about the alters but woah, that just sounds so freaking amazing and ticking all of my boxes!

This is a DAY ONE buy. I see this the same as I did the game THE CAPES, which is an incredible Xcom-like game for superhero. I can't wait until THE ALTERS come out. DAY ONE BUY.

Did Karak who never started ACG come full circle and set his alter on fire by accident say "whew, man, we gotta work on communicating what word means FIRE because half of my other alters are staring at me like I'm the screw up". Good work. I'm playing this soon as it releases just to figure out if I could stand myself for 6 minutes straight.

Just so that’s more clear for the younger people. When you get older you want there to be happiness, when you’re younger (at least it used to be like this) everything is happy so you look for something to make you feel sad. I don’t need that, I’m looking to feel happy.
mindfuck the game. also, ive watched a bunch of shyamalan movies so here is the end game plot twist. i bet that in the end you will find out that the first person you play as is already a clone of some sort and that the original is either dead or was the one that caused the crashland
Creating altered versions of yourself and interacting with them is a crazy and promising idea. Especially while discovering mesmerizing alien world. Demo was great, I look forward to full game!

They aren't real because the memories the alter have did not physically happen. Don't let delusion altered memories get to you. The main character is the only real alter because real event happen to him and not just memories that's altered

Yeah looks like nba 2k controls. Not good. They should fix that cause bad controls can ruin an otherwise good game. Amazing idea for a game though. Hope it all comes together and holds up. And what the hell is that sheep for?
Some of these mechanics have been seen in other games of course, but combining them into a single game like this, and adding in that cloning "each life is different" mechanic to it, definitely looks like it creates a unique experience. I'm also curious as to what will happen to them all by the end. Hope they don't all get murdered/killed.

This game is 100% what I did not expect. Came here after the demo release, I was expecting something like Frostpunk.
