2003 was still one of the greatest years for Cartoon Network in general. Cartoon Cartoons like Dexter's Laboratory, Johnny Bravo, The Powerpuff Girls, Ed Edd n Eddy, and Courage the Cowardly Dog were airing regularly including Samurai Jack and Justice League new episodes week by week. It was the first full year Codename: KND was around and Teen Titans had premiered. Looney Tunes were still airing Saturday mornings. 2003 Toonami combined with Saturday Video Entertainment System were the best combination of action shows & anime CN ever did. However, I agree that 2003 was the waning year of the Powerhouse Era in general, like CCF transitioning over to Fridays or most classics from the 30's-80's being shoved to midnight time slots once a week. The Powerhouse bumpers removed the original theme music and replaced it with generic music plus they removed the background color code while most of the colors were only blue. Also, [adult swim] became 5 days a week. 2002 was truly the last year the Powerhouse Era was at its peak.
These aired on September 14th, 2003. The "Tonight at 10 pm" at the end of the Teen Titans promo indicates that the recording is from a Sunday, and the schedule is the typical Sunday one from this time. Also, the New Fridays teaser promo started airing that day.
Heh, that's what I originally thought. I assumed it was Sunday, but the CN Wiki page for Scooby Universe stated the block aired Mon-Fri, and I would've been at school in the afternoon (unless I scheduled a recording on my VCR), so I just went with those dates in case the article was correct. Thanks a lot!
Yeah cuz if it was a Sunday then they would’ve used the 2003 bumpers of Scooby-Doo and The New Scooby-Doo Movies. Yes you’re right that Scooby Universe was only on weekdays.
Minute 8:35 on Mediacom Digital promo. ¿What's the name of the song on that Cinemax Promo? Somebody who heard this on Radio that tune? Listen.............
I have a playlist here on TH-cam titled “Commercials” that consists of a bunch of commercials from my childhood and I just keep adding and adding more videos to it 🤣🤣
Movies back then were absolutely magical, in storytelling and scope. The beautiful scores were final icing on the cake 🎂. There's no magic or inspiration anymore 😢, seems to be all be political and personal agendas and corporate profit. I've noticed that most movies scores sounds very generic with "NO" heart or emotions. I really want to bringing the back those types of movies that I grew up with ever since I was toddler and younger ages in 2000s era with more "Absolutely Magical", "Storytelling" and "Scope". Even more "Heart and Emotion". There totally needs to be a time when humans really need to make a "True" animated movies that touched the soul and heart of the viewers of all ages. Somebody hand-drawn and computer animation, it's not just the movies, TV shows as well for all ages on Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Disney Channel, and the Walt Disney company needs to take there place in the circle of animations shows and movies for everyone. I hope sometimes in the future, My family would see the newspaper or different articles on the internet of their own cellphones 📱 about I finally got my dream job as "Ian Cassidy save the Walt Disney Company for bringing the 2-D animated style in order pay homage and tribute to past Disney's 2-D animated style movies were made in old glory days". "Ian Cassidy made his promise to have more Magic and/or Inspiration from 2-D animated movies from Disney". "Walt Disney Company made a agreement with Ian Cassidy to have Disney's 2-D animated style movies to have music to be more Heart and Emotion with Absolutely Magical, Storytelling and Scope as well". "The Walt Disney Company celebrated Ian Cassidy's birthday party for being our Savior of bringing the old school Disney 2-D animated style movies". I'm thinking Disney stuff never meant always for Kids, it's for everyone mostly adults back in the day, same with Looney Tunes and Tom and Jerry, unlike nowadays everything is for kids and family. Movies back then taught us about importance of friendship, loyalty, kindness, compassion, determination, etc. A lot of movies do that, but there are still some good ones. The main ones that awful to me that are intentionally bad just for money, a cash grab. 😒 Cause The old Disney movies were so awesome had a little dark things that you don't see now those days in Disney movies. Movies still have an important message though but the movies are too sweet, there's a video Looney Tunes that they are soft and not that dangerous silliness we know. Because it's saver for the kids? I mean I can understand kids now those days are misunderstanding and would do anything for likes and views but making the cartoons soft won't change the fact that they grow up to be misunderstood, they become uncaring anyways because of the internet. People became too soft, real snowflakes. Wow, I really miss the good old days, when Cartoons were good. Today it's a quick cash grab, with use of effects and big names in the movies. I love the storytelling part, the sending a message to the audience, that's what should be, the soul and heart needs to come back in films and Hollywood became too powerful, meaning they can get away with making bad movies. Back then movies had individualist them, today it's about ideas like social justices and feminism. Those ideas take away from the true hero's journey and make it difficult to identify with the characters. This is the reason so many people nowadays just stick with the older movies, and the ones grew up with because that's precisely what those kinds of movies did for them. They were heartfelt, funny, for all the ages, full of value, and are consistently good every time you watch them. While one of the purposes was the company to make money, they still wanted to deliver a quality product to the viewers and it feels like they've lost that. We took for granted 💔 how well animated movies in 1990s and 2000s were, outside the animation being revolutionary for it's time, the writing was also well written that even being 30. I can still watch movies like Ice Age (2002) and actually enjoy. Yes and alot have avoided those powerful morally complex story's in favor of something safer. Sure the effects look amazing but heart isn't there anymore, The Toy Story series is an exception because of all fours have are capable of rivaling each other. Who says that Disney movies are just for kids? Adults can watch it as well, They have some life lessons which applies to both kids and adults. For example, what do we learn from The Little Mermaid, from my perspective, that movie learned us that never sell yourself to an evil person, also if the deal is bad, don't take it. What about Cinderella? It taught us that dreams can come true and no matter with circumstances be always good and kind. What about Pocahontas? Love conquer all and one must find their own way, other movies which has powerful messages, excellent music. Nowadays everything is must be political ,which is sad and heartbreaking 💔. I definitely want to bring it back for my dream job in the future. Movies today are made to appeal to as wide an audience as possible and make as much money as possible. Back in the day while profit and marketability was important producers and directors had more freedom to be creative and make movies that were original, innovative and memorable. People think it's all nostalgia goggles and being unfair to modern movies, but No. It's all the value and quality of the movies back then, the delivery, lessons everything all that is gone nowadays. Technology creates the story these days, not the soul of the writer. Like how back in the old good days, we didn't over-analyze anything. We just sat back and enjoyed stuff. 😉 Animated movies are not like what they once were, the effort, the details and the passion just aren't there anymore in modern animated movies, really sad. Movies in nowadays are made by algorithms, not people. Today's Cartoons don't have as many good, fun and exciting masterpieces as the old cartoons. Too political...everything has to have "a message"... and the sense of pure fun is missing. I also find alot of movies nowadays try to be comedy's with over the top cringey dialogue and try way to hard to be funny, Not everybody wants to be laughing throughout the entirety of the movie (Or so they expect us to be laughing). It seriously is heartbreaking to see all that hard work and time people put into a film only for it to be completely thrown out near the end because studio executives lost faith in it. I can't imagine how frustrating that is. We don't want or need a joke evey two seconds, just give us a movie where the serious scenes don't get ruined by an out of place joke. That's not how movies should be made, technology is supposed to simplify our lives, and should not mean taking responsibilities away from us altogether. Box Office movies nowadays wouldn't even hold a candle even to a classic cartoon like This (The Land Before Time) in terms of depth and feel. Those big hits feel like they are just watched because of their name brand, not because of the quality itself at all. Once you watch them, they make you feel like you just wasted your time leading up to it and the huge money of it too. That's why I feel like a winner when I don't watch the movies of this decade or even past decade.
The only Tex Avery Show thing I could upload is a better quality version of the "Chump Champ" bumper w/ the nighttime city background. Other than that, I have no more stuff of that caliber. So you can stop asking me for more of it now, thanks.
Cartoon Network sucks nowadays. The shows are getting more corny plus they're isn't no variety. Even Boomerang had variety. Just like Cartoon Network airs Teen Titans Go all through the day, Boomerang airs 2 hours of Tom and Jerry and Looney Tunes. Whoever is making these decisions at Cartoon Network needs to be replaced. Pronto.
Best old school stuff ever!!!
This is like a time machine
That bow wow commercial was very nostalgic

Do you have any more 2003 content?
Yes. I'm slowly going through my tapes and trying to find more commercial/bumper stuff worthy of uploading, but I do have some more things from 2003.
I'm kinda hoping you have some Fridays blocks but I know most people never recorded them because of how outraged they were that it replaced CCF.
Thats good dude 2000-2003 content
Tell me when you find more cartoon network tex avery show content ok.

ya cartoon network sucks bigtime
I think it would be best to just try the internet to watch classic cartoons.
Here's a website to try:
