Hi Luka, in the session window, there is a down arrow round button. Click that button and untick "Clip list". Then Click "az" button in the below window. Now short cuts will work

I just saw this, I know it’s been four years but if you look at the top right of where all of your tracks (mix window) ... you’ll see a little A-Z. Click that so it’s yellow and then all of your keys will work.

Orr you can use strip silence tool to get rid of this empty spots quicklu, but that's not the point of this video
