It seems quite a coincidence that there is a great you tube video about the Holy Grail in Leon Spain. Now watching Sudarium of Oviedo. Two places in Spain not too far apart. Now watching further, a part of the Holy cross is at Monasterio de Santo Toribio de Lie’bana. Near Potes in the Picos de Europa. Quite a coincidence that the holy relics are in Northern Spain.

Mark Guscin's book is very rare and very costly if you can find one. May I suggest a video with Mark Guscin, where he actually 'demonstrates' how the Sudarium was used according to studies done; Search; Shroud Encounter-Mark Guscin Sudarium of Oviedo. Thank you.

The Sudarium has been dated by carbon fourteen to the 8th century. Rucker's neutron absoption hypothesis explains that anomaly. shroudresearchxxxxxx
Rucker's hypothesis has been supported by the finding that the nitrogen signature in blood taken from the Shroud is missing. A neutron flux would have converted that nitrogen into carbon.

Cartagena was a main trade/port and military naval base established and used from pre Roman times. During the several hundred years of Roman control Cartagena was the major arrival point by sea, a route known from all around the Mediterranean. Cartagena has one of the largest Colosseums ever discovered or rediscovered as the site here was built upon, multiple times over the intervening centuries as well as the usual scavenging of materials that has obviously been prevalent.
    N.B.
Interestingly, (Saint) Helenas travels (First pilgrimage to Jerusalem) in order to locate the Holy Sites was accredited to and authenticated by Roman Graffiti as well as by the modern archeological excavations still currently ongoing.
General Gordon’s documentation of the site of the Skull and therefore, allegedly authenticating the current Garden Tomb is less credible.
    A) The Alleged Tomb has had multiple occupancy over the centuries.
    B) The Tomb is contrived to the image of the practical operation of both Stone opening and closing too contrived and modern to be authentic.
The place of the Skull 💀 at this location, is currently a local bus station, although both now and in historical photographs does appear to look like a skull. Any number of cultivated fires in the cave areas could have added to the creation of this depiction, in addition to natural erosion which has taken place over the centuries.

@@joshuamassey1302 Invisible weave is possible. One of the characteristics of repaired areas is that they have a different weave pattern. The bulk of the shroud is a particular herringbone weave pattern that was practiced in first century Palestine but totally unused/unknown in Europe at any point. I don't understand how invisible weave works, but I have heard it discussed in relation to the shroud, and that has to be what they did because there are two separate kinds of cloth here that can only be told apart by close analysis of the fibers.
I wish I could remember which video(s) I saw that in, but there are just too many, and they all seem to have a little bit of info that nobody else has, because there is just such an enormous amount of research - it's the most studied historical artifact of all time - that there is no way to cover it all in one presentation, and it seems like people presenting info about the shroud will sometimes highlight points they're trying to get out there that aren't well enough known yet.

    • @lilyw.719
      @lilyw.719 3 ปีที่แล้ว

You know, I have just thought of an idea for how invisible weave might work. Perhaps one is not trying to attach two different pieces of cloth but instead sew back out the missing piece. I have absolutely no idea how that would work with a loom, but it's a thought.

How long post mortem would blood from inside the body still be liquid? That would give us some idea of how long it took to take Christ down from the cross and place His body in the tomb.
Also, what would the spear wound in Christ's side do to the blood flow from His head? Would the loss of blood through His side alter the pressure of the blood remaining in His head?
I'd also question how any fluid from Christ's lungs could be forced out through His nose post mortem.

    • @lemonlemonlemonlemonlemonlemo

Fresh corpses that have pulmonary edema in the lungs are leaky for awhile after death. He would have been coughing up pulmonary foam as he died and that would be all over his lower face. When they lowered his body, if his head dropped below his heart level, he would have leaked fluid out of his mouth and nose.
Source, I'm a retired LPN who worked in long term care and dealt with many a corpse. Fun fact; freshly dead bodies groan when you roll them over. It's from the air escaping their lungs. We would prop the head up to keep the fluids from leaking out when their families came in to view them before the mortuary took them away.

This cloth was thought to have been placed under the forehead of Christ as he was placed face down with the thorn crown intact on the shroud and then the back part placed over HIM. This was what was determined by technical analysis and data plotting of the original photos where it was determined that the pressure points (or flattening of the body) indicated a prone facedown position. This also would explain why the face cloth was found placed away from the rest of the shroud as it was UNDER the shroud and that is why the face is so clear on the shroud itself.

As is known, many theologians do not believe in the resurrection of Jesus. According to them, it would be an inner experience. However, according to the Acts of the Apostles and the letters of Saint Paul, the Resurrection of Jesus is the indispensable requirement to receive Baptism and be saved. These theologians do not have the faith that is necessary to be saved, they are in extreme danger of being damned. They have two solutions, both go through humility, which is the problem. Say to God: I want to believe in the resurrection of your Son Jesus, but I can't. Make me safe, as if I believed. The other is to turn to the Shroud and mentally see the miracle witnessed by John, Peter, Joseph of Arimathea, Mary Magdalene, and even Mary, Mother of Jesus. They were privileged, they believed in the resurrection of Jesus thanks to that visible miracle. The Holy sheet with the "photos" of Jesus and the head shroud suspended in the air. The other Christian faithful would believe because of the preaching and the action of the Holy Spirit, but all had to believe in the resurrection of Jesus as a "sine qua non" condition. Now in the 21st century, the miracle is offered to us again because the book picks up the pieces of the puzzle that Saint John left us and puts them in their place and thus the scene that they saw twenty centuries later appears drawn, since Saint John was not explicit for various reasons. His community knew how to read between the lines what he was explaining because they knew the story well enough. It is about the book SAINT JOHN THE EVANGELIST "SAW AND BELIEVED" AND WE TOO! On Amazon.
