I would have to agree with you, I just love the Nature Segments on CBS Sunday Morning, I think that those Wild Horses are just so beautiful, when they're whinnying at each-other, it's almost like they're talking to each-other, Like one wild horse starts a conversation, and the other one answer it, also those foals are just so cute.

I visited Black Hills Wild Horse Sanctuary this year. I took a tour. I totally enjoyed my time with Susan! We were up close and personal with the horses. The BHWHS is absolutely stunning and the scenery is beautiful. The wild Mustangs are breathtaking for me! I'll be returning. There should be an hour or two of BHWHS on CBS Sunday Morning. If I lived closer I would like to volunteer or even visit each day. Horses are wonderful creatures!

Well not really. In real nature there's predators and prey, but in these sanctuaries there's no predators for the horses because humans keep them out. So this is a glorified unrealistic version of nature. But I'm happy for the horses.

We saw 35 wild horses at Wyoming Green Mountain Horse Management today. Before August 2018 we would have seen hundreds! August 2018 we saw the Bureau of Land Management use helicopters to round up over a thousand horses and remove them from the mountain. Wild horses are amazing!

Huh, I wonder if that’s H Alan Day’s old ranch? He’s the brother of retired Supreme Court Justice Sandra Day O’Connor- from a big ranching family here in Arizona. My mother dated Alan for a short period, (and I’m a lifelong horse lover, especially Mustangs)… Alan wrote a few books, and the one called “The Horse Lover” chronicles the way his Mustang sanctuary - most likely the land shown on this video- came into being. (You can find copies of the book on AMAZON under Author: H Alan Day). Viva the spirit of the West, the wild Mustang!

What if CBS Sunday Morning did a show on our wild horses being slaughtered. Let's show the world the other end of it. These horses are our American heritage and I am so grateful we have such people as those who are actively saving them. They are our companions and friends not some animal to be eaten like a cow, pig, sheep or deer. Please take the time to visit other sites and read about our plight. Vote against slaughter. Stop the BLM. Help to save our horses. Let's keep them free and wild. 😎

Been a HUGE fan since Charles Kuralt days. Jane does an excellent job now. Showing how extraordinary "average" people in this country really are------ They are what makes the country so great. I can't tell you how many people are unaware such a "news" program exists today. This is a gift needed so badly in today's world. I think your nature videos you play for a few seconds at the end of each Sunday could easily turn into its own 1 or more hour program! You guys were onto something this WHOLE time(20+years) but greatly under leveraging its potential.
One of the top huge hits in Europe is called "SLOWTV". No words spoken for hours and it only films nature, ships on the ocean etc.
Here is a link to a few of their shows----
