the song came out in 1999, Netflix Japan made a Drama series called "First Love" inspired by Utada Hikaru's song and it tied into the story. if you want to cry go watch it

I like this song. It makes me nostalgic (I listened that song over my real strong first love in fact) but I prefer another “Hatsu-koi 初恋(first love)” by Utada. 初恋　brings me to tears.
